Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6315
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once sent us to the outskirts of Medina and ordered us to kill all the dogs. A woman came from the countryside and we killed her dog as well.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ ہمیں اطراف مدینہ میں بھیجا اور تمام کتوں کو مارنے کا حکم دیا ایک عورت دیہات سے آئی ہوئی تھی ہم نے اس کا کتا بھی مار دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba hamen اطراف Madinah mein bheja aur tamam kutton ko marne ka hukum diya ek aurat dihat se aai hui thi hum ne uska kutta bhi maar diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْعَثُنَا فِي أَطْرَافِ الْمَدِينَةِ،" فَيَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ لَا نَدَعَ كَلْبًا إِلَّا قَتَلْنَاهُ، حَتَّى نَقْتُلَ الْكَلْبَ لِلْمُرَيَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ".
