Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6341
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once an Ansar man was advising his brother regarding modesty (that you should not be so shy). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Leave him, for modesty is a part of faith."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک انصاری آدمی اپنے بھائی کو حیاء کے متعلق نصیحت کر رہا تھا (کہ اتنی بھی حیاء کیا کرو) نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”رہنے دو حیاء تو ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek Ansaari aadmi apne bhai ko haya ke mutalliq nasihat kar raha tha (keh itni bhi haya kya karo) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Rahne do haya to imaan ka hissa hai.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ مِنَ الْحَيَاءِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" دَعْهُ، فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ".
