Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6350
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting a supplication after raising his head from the bowing position in the second Rak'ah of Fajr prayer. After saying "Rabbana Walakal Hamd," he invoked a curse once, saying, "O Allah, send Your curse upon so-and-so," and he named a few hypocrites. Upon this, the verse was revealed: "It is not for you (Prophet Muhammad) to decide whether Allah accepts their repentance or punishes them, for they are wrongdoers."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو نماز فجر کی دوسری رکعت میں رکوع سے سر اٹھا کر ربنا ولک الحمد کہنے کے بعد ایک مرتبہ یہ بدعاء کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ اے اللہ فلاں پر لعنت نازل فرما اور چند منافقین کا نام لیا اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کہ آپ کا اس معاملے میں کوئی اختیار نہیں کہ اللہ ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو جائے یا انہیں سزا دے کہ یہ ظالم ہیں۔
Seyedna Ibn Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ke unhon ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko namaz fajr ki dusri rakat mein rukoo se sar utha kar Rabbana walakal hamd kehne ke baad ek martaba yeh bad dua karte huye suna ke aye Allah falan par lanat nazil farma aur chand munafiqeen ka naam liya is par yeh ayat nazil hui ke aap ka is mamle mein koi ikhtiyar nahi ke Allah un ki taraf mutawajja ho jaye ya unhen saza de ke yeh zalim hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ , يَقُولُ:" اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ فُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا وَفُلَانًا"، بَعْدَمَا يَقُولُ:" سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ"، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ سورة آل عمران آية 128.
