Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6363
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), along with Sayyiduna Ubayy ibn Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him), went to the garden of date palms where Ibn Sayyad used to reside. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered the garden, he started walking while hiding behind the branches. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to go secretly and listen to some of the words of Ibn Sayyad before he saw him. At that time, Ibn Sayyad was lying on his bed wrapped in a sheet and something was preventing him (from getting up). Ibn Sayyad’s mother saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walking behind the branches and leaves, and immediately said, “O Safi (that was his name), here comes Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).” Upon hearing this, he jumped up to sit. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If this woman had left him (and not informed him of my arrival), he would have definitely clarified his reality."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے ساتھ سیدنا ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کو لے کر کھجوروں کے اس باغ میں گئے جہاں ابن صیاد رہتا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ جب اس باغ میں داخل ہوئے تو ٹہنیوں کی آڑ میں چھپتے ہوئے چلنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ یہ چاہتے تھے کہ چپکے سے جا کر ابن صیاد کی کچھ باتیں قبل اس کے کہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھے سن لیں ابن صیاد اس وقت اپنے بستر پر ایک چادر میں لپٹا ہوا پڑا کچھ گنگنا رہا تھا ابن صیاد کی ماں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھ لیا کہ وہ ٹہنیوں اور شاخوں کی آڑ لے کر چلے آ رہے ہیں تو فوراً بول پڑی صافی (یہ اس کا نام تھا) یہ محمد ﷺ آ رہے ہیں یہ سنتے ہی وہ کود کر بیٹھ گیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اگر وہ عورت اسے چھوڑ دیتی (اور میرے آنے کی خبر نہ دیتی) تو یہ اپنی حقیقت ضرور واضح کر دیتا۔
Sayyidaana Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne saath Sayyidaana Abi bin Ka'ab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko lekar khajuron ke us bagh mein gaye jahan Ibn Sayyad rehta tha. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab us bagh mein daakhil huye to tahniyon ki aad mein chhipte huye chalne lage. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ye chahte the ki chupke se ja kar Ibn Sayyad ki kuch baaten qabal uske ki woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekhe sun len. Ibn Sayyad us waqt apne bistar par ek chaadar mein lipta hua pada kuch gunguna raha tha. Ibn Sayyad ki maan ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekh liya ki woh tahniyon aur shakhon ki aad lekar chale aa rahe hain to foran bol padi, "Safi (ye us ka naam tha), ye Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aa rahe hain." Ye sunte hi woh kood kar baith gaya. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Agar woh aurat use chhod deti (aur mere aane ki khabar na deti) to ye apni haqiqat zaroor wazeh kar deta."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، أَوْ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : انْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَأُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَأْتِيَانِ النَّخْلَ الَّتِي فِيهَا ابْنُ صَيَّادٍ، حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَا النَّخْلَ، طَفِقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَّقِي بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ، وَهُوَ يَخْتِلُ ابْنَ صَيَّادٍ، أَنْ يَسْمَعَ مِنَ ابْنِ صَيَّادٍ شَيْئًا، قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرَاهُ، وَابْنُ صَيَّادٍ مُضْطَجِعٌ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ فِي قَطِيفَةٍ لَهُ فِيهَا زَمْزَمَةٌ، قَالَ: فَرَأَتْ أُمُّهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَتَّقِي بِجُذُوعِ النَّخْلِ، فَقَالَتْ: أَيْ صَافِ , وَهُوَ اسْمُهُ، هَذَا مُحَمَّدٌ , فَثَارَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَوْ تَرَكَتْهُ بَيَّنَ".
