Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6393
Saeed bin Hubayrah (may Allah have mercy on him) said that I saw Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) walking between Safa and Marwa at a normal pace, so I asked him, "Are you walking at a normal pace?" He said: "If I walk at a normal pace, I have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walking like this, and if I walk fast, I have seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walking like this too."

سعید بن حبیررحمتہ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو صفا مروہ کے درمیان عام رفتار سے چلتے ہوئے دیکھا تو ان سے پوچھا کہ آپ عام رفتار سے چل رہے ہیں؟ فرمایا: ”اگر میں عام رفتار سے چلوں تو میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بھی اس طرح چلتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اور اگر تیزی سے چلوں تو میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس طرح بھی دیکھا ہے۔
Saeed bin Hubair Rehmatullah Alaih kehte hain keh maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ko Safa Marwa ke darmiyaan aam raftar se chalte huye dekha to unse poocha keh aap aam raftar se chal rahe hain? Farmaya: ”Agar main aam raftar se chaloon to maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi is tarah chalte huye dekha hai aur agar tezi se chaloon to maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is tarah bhi dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الصَّفَا , وَالْمَرْوَةِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنْ مَشَيْتُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَمْشِي"، وَإِنْ سَعَيْتُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يَسْعَى".
