Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6400
Abdullah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once he prayed with Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) in Muzdalifah. He prayed three rak'ahs of Maghrib and two rak'ahs of Isha with a single tashahhud (sitting). Khalid bin Malik asked him about it, so he replied: “I prayed these prayers with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at this place with a single tashahhud.”

عبداللہ بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ مزدلفہ میں نماز پڑھی انہوں نے ایک ہی اقامت سے مغرب کی تین رکعتیں اور عشاء کی دو رکعتیں پڑھائی خالد بن مالک نے ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ”میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ یہ نمازیں اس جگہ ایک ہی اقامت کے ساتھ پڑھی ہیں۔
Abdullah bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ki ek martaba maine Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke sath Muzdalifah mein namaz parhayi unhon ne ek hi iqamat se Maghrib ki teen rakat aur Isha ki do rakat parhayi Khalid bin Malik ne un se iske mutalliq puchha to unhon ne farmaya: “Maine Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ye namazen is jagah ek hi iqamat ke sath parhayi hain.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ بِجَمْعٍ، فَأَقَامَ، فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ"، قَالَ: فَسَأَلَهُ خَالِدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ هَذَا فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ.
