Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6430
Mujaahid, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Once, I and Urwah bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, entered the mosque. We reached Sayyidina Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, and sat with him. There were some people praying Chast prayer. We asked him, "O Abu Abdur Rahman, what prayer is this?" He said, "This is an innovation." We asked him, "How many Umrahs did the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, perform?" He said, "Four, one of which was in Rajab." We were ashamed to contradict him. At the same time, we heard the voice of Umm al-Mu'mineen, Sayyida Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her. So, Urwah bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, said to her, "O Mother of the Believers, did you hear what Abu Abdur Rahman said? He says that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, performed four Umrahs, one of which was in Rajab." She said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman. He accompanied the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in every Umrah he performed, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not perform any Umrah in Rajab."

مجاہدرحمتہ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے ہم لوگ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے پاس پہنچے اور ان کے پاس بیٹھ گئے وہاں کچھ لوگ چاشت کی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے ہم نے ان سے پوچھا اے ابوعبدالرحمن یہ کیسی نماز ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ”نوایجاد ہے ہم نے ان سے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے کتنے عمرے کئے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ”چار جن میں سے ایک رجب میں بھی تھا ہمیں ان کی بات کی ترید کرتے ہوئے شرم آئی البتہ اسی وقت ہم نے ام المؤمنین سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے مسواک کر نے کی آواز سنی تو عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ نے ان سے کہا اے ام المؤمنین کیا آپ نے ابوعبدالرحمن کی بات سنی؟ وہ فرما رہے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے چار عمرے کئے ہیں جن میں سے ایک رجب میں تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ ابو عبدالرحمن پر رحم فرمائے نبی کریم ﷺ نے جو عمرہ بھی کیا وہ اس میں شریک رہے ہیں اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے رجب میں کوئی عمرہ نہیں فرمایا: ”۔
Mujahid Rehmatullahi Alaih kehte hain ki ek martaba main aur Urwa bin Zubair Rehmatullahi Alaih masjid mein dakhil huye hum log Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke paas pahunche aur un ke paas baith gaye wahan kuch log chaast ki namaz padh rahe the humne unse pucha aye Abu Abdullah Rehman yeh kaisi namaz hai unhon ne farmaya nawaijad hai humne unse pucha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kitne umre kiye the unhon ne farmaya chaar jin mein se ek Rajab mein bhi tha humein unki baat ki tareed karte huye sharm aayi albatta isi waqt humne Ummul Momineen Sayyidah Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke musawak karne ki aawaz suni to Urwa bin Zubair Rehmatullahi Alaih ne unse kaha aye Ummul Momineen kya aap ne Abu Abdullah Rehman ki baat suni woh farma rahe hain ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chaar umre kiye hain jin mein se ek Rajab mein tha unhon ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala Abu Abdullah Rehman par reham farmaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jo umrah bhi kiya woh us mein sharik rahe hain aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Rajab mein koi umrah nahin farmaya
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ مَعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَإِذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إِلَى حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُنَاسٌ يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ: أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ؟ قَالَ: بِدْعَةٌ! فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ: أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، كَمْ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: أَرْبَعًا، إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ، قَالَ: وَسَمِعْنَا اسْتِنَانَ عَائِشَةَ فِي الْحُجْرَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهَا عُرْوَةُ: إِنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعًا، إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ؟ فَقَالَتْ: يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،" مَا اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ، وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ".
