Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 6431
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear) in the following manner: He made one group stand behind him and led them in one bowing (ruku) and two prostrations (sajdahs). The second group remained standing facing the enemy. Then, the group that had prayed one rak'ah with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left, and the second group came forward. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in one bowing and two prostrations as well. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then finished the prayer with the Salam. After that, each person from both groups stood up and prayed one rak'ah individually.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے صلوۃ الخوف اس طرح پڑھائی ہے کہ ایک گروہ کو اپنے پیچھے کھڑا کر کے ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے دوسرا گروہ دشمن کے سامنے کھڑا رہا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ جس گروہ نے ایک رکعت پڑھی تھی وہ چلا گیا اور دوسرا گروہ آگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں بھی ایک رکوع اور دو سجدے کروائے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے سلام پھیر دیا اس کے بعد دونوں گروہوں کے ہر آدمی نے کھڑے ہو کر خود ہی ایک ایک رکعت پڑھ لی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Salatul Khauf is tarah parhayi hai ki ek giroh ko apne peeche khara kar ke ek ruku aur do sajde karwaye dusra giroh dushman ke samne khara raha phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath jis giroh ne ek rakat parhayi thi wo chala gaya aur dusra giroh aagaya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen bhi ek ruku aur do sajde karwaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne salam phir diya is ke bad dono girohon ke har aadmi ne kharay ho kar khud hi ek ek rakat parh li.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ فِي بَعْضِ أَيَّامِهِ، فَقَامَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مَعَهُ، وَطَائِفَةٌ بِإِزَاءِ الْعَدُوِّ، فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ ذَهَبُوا، وَجَاءَ الْآخَرُونَ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ قَضَتْ الطَّائِفَتَانِ، رَكْعَةً رَكْعَةً".
