Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 659
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would offer Witr prayer close to the Adhan of Fajr and would offer the two Sunnah Rak'ahs of Fajr close to its Iqamah.

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ اذان فجر کے قریب وتر ادا فرماتے تھے اور اقامت کے قریب فجر کی سنتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Sayyiduna Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) azaan fajr ke qareeb witr ada farmate thay aur iqamat ke qareeb fajr ki sunnatain parhte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: كَانَ" يُوتِرُ عِنْدَ الْأَذَانِ، وَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ الْإِقَامَةِ".
