Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 7617
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you meet the Jews and Christians in the way, do not greet them first and force them to walk on the narrow side of the road.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم یہود و نصاریٰ سے راستے میں ملو تو سلام کرنے میں پہل نہ کرو اور انہیں تنگ راستے کی طرف مجبور کردو۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum Yahud o Nasara se raste mein milo to salam karne mein pehl na karo aur unhen tang raste ki taraf majboor kardo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَبْتَدِءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى بِالسَّلَامِ، فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ، فَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهَا" .
