Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8051
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to his companions while they were expressing their opinions about a tree that emerges from the surface of the earth and does not have stability. So some people said that we think it is a mushroom. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that the mushroom is a part of Mann (which was revealed to the Israelites) and its water is a cure for the eyes, and the Ajuah date is a date of Paradise and a cure for poison.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہ اس درخت کے بارے اپنی اپنی رائے کا اظہار کر رہے تھے جو سطح زمین سے ابھرتا ہے اور اسے قرار نہیں ہوتا چنانچہ کچھ لوگوں کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمارے خیال میں وہ کھنبی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کھنبی تو من (جو بنی اسرائیل پر نازل ہوا تھا) کا حصہ ہے اور اس کا پانی آنکھوں کے لئے شفا ہے اور عجوہ کھجور جنت کی کھجور ہے اور زہر کی شفا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne sahaba ke pass tashreef laye to woh iss darakht ke bare apni apni rai ka izhar kar rahe the jo satah zameen se ubharta hai aur usay qarar nahi hota chunancha kuch logon ka kehna tha keh hamare khayal mein woh khanbi hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya khanbi to mun (jo Bani Israel par nazil hua tha) ka hissa hai aur uska pani aankhon ke liye shifa hai aur ajooba khajoor jannat ki khajoor hai aur zahr ki shifa hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي وَحْشِيَّةَ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ وَهُمْ يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِي هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ الَّتِي اجْتُثَّتْ مِنْ فَوْقِ الأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِنْ قَرَارٍ سورة إبراهيم آية 26، فَقَالُوا: نَحْسَبُهَا الْكَمْأَةَ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ، وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ، وَالْعَجْوَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَهِيَ شِفَاءٌ مِنَ السُّمِّ" .
