Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8060
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): We were with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the occasion of Hajj or Umrah when we saw a swarm of locusts on the way. We started hitting them with our whips and sticks, and they started falling one by one in front of us. We wondered, we are in the state of Ihram, what should we do with them? Then we inquired from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: There is no harm in the hunt of the sea.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ حج یا عمرے کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ تھے کہ راستے میں ٹڈی دل کا ایک غول نظر آیا ہم نے اپنے کوڑوں اور لاٹھیوں سے مارنے لگے اور وہ ایک ایک کر کے ہمارے سامنے گرنے لگے ہم نے سوچا کہ ہم تو محرم ہیں ان کا کیا کریں؟ پھر ہم نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے دریافت کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سمندر کے شکار میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki hum log Hajj ya Umre ke mauke par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath the ki raste me tiddi dal ka ek ghol nazar aya humne apne koodon aur lathiyon se marne lage aur wo ek ek kar ke humare samne girne lage humne socha ki hum to muhrim hain inka kya karen phir humne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se daryaft kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya samandar ke shikar me koi harj nahi.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، وَعَفَّانُ ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُهَزِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ، فَاسْتَقْبَلْنَا وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ: فَاسْتَقْبَلَتْنَا رِجْلٌ مِنْ جَرَادٍ، فَجَعَلْنَا نَضْرِبُهُنَّ بِعِصِيِّنَا وَسِيَاطِنَا وَنَقْتُلُهُنَّ، فَأُسْقِطَ فِي أَيْدِينَا، فَقُلْنَا: مَا نَصْنَعُ وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ؟! فَسَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " لَا بَأْسَ بِصَيْدِ الْبَحْرِ" .
