Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8310
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He was about to go on a journey. He said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), give me some advice." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I advise you to fear Allah and to say Takbeer on every high ground." When that person turned his back to leave, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah, fold the earth for him and make his journey easy."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا وہ سفر پر جانا چاہ رہا تھا کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ مجھے کوئی وصیت فرما دیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تمہیں اللہ سے ڈرنے کی اور ہر بلندی پر تکبیر کہنے کی وصیت کرتا ہوں جب اس شخص نے واپسی کے لئے پشت پھیری تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے اللہ اس کے لئے زمین کو لپیٹ دے اور سفر کو آسان فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ke aik aadmi bargah e nabuyat mein hazir hua woh safar per jana chah raha tha kehne laga Ya Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe koi wasiyat farma dijiye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein tumhein Allah se darne ki aur har bulandi per takbeer kehne ki wasiyat karta hun jab iss shaks ne wapsi ke liye pusht pheri to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Allah iss ke liye zameen ko lapait de aur safar ko aasan farma.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُرِيدُ سَفَرًا، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَوْصِنِي، قَالَ: " أُوصِيكَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ، وَالتَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ"، فَلَمَّا وَلَّى الرَّجُلُ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" اللَّهُمَّ ازْوِ لَهُ الْأَرْضَ، وَهَوِّنْ عَلَيْهِ السَّفَرَ" .
