Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8533

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is asked about a matter of knowledge and he conceals it deliberately, will be bridled with a bridle of fire on the Day of Judgement."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس شخص سے علم کی کوئی بات پوچھی جائے اور وہ اسے خواہ مخواہ چھپائے تو قیامت کے دن اس کے منہ میں آگ کی لگام دی جائے گی۔

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis shakhs se ilm ki koi baat poochi jaye aur wo use khwah makwah chhupaye to qayamat ke din uske munh mein aag ki lagaam di jayegi.

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " مَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ أَلْجَمَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" .
