Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8551
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade letting one's garment hang down in prayer in such a way that it takes the shape of the body and there is nothing stopping it.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز میں کپڑا اس طرح لٹکانے سے منع فرمایا: ہے کہ وہ جسم کی ہیئت پر نہ ہو اور اس میں کوئی روک نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz mein kapda iss tarah latkane se mana farmaya: hai keh woh jism ki haet par na ho aur iss mein koi rok na ho.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا عِسْلُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ التَّمِيمِيُّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " نَهَى عَنِ السَّدْلِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ" .
