Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8818
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The expiation for (idle talk in) a gathering is that one should say, when getting up from it: 'Subhanaka Allahuma wa bi hamdika ash-hadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik (Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You).'"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کفارہ مجلس یہ ہے کہ انسان مجلس سے اٹھتے وقت یوں کہہ لے۔ سبحانک اللہم وبحمدک استغفرک واتوب الیک ''
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kaffara majlis ye hai ki insan majlis se uthte waqt yun keh le Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaik ''
حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: " كَفَّارَةُ الْمَجَالِسِ أَنْ يَقُولَ الْعَبْدُ: سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ" .
