Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8991
Translation: It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "When the month of Ramadan is near, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say, 'The month of Ramadan is coming to you, a blessed month. Allah has made fasting in this month obligatory upon you. In this blessed month, the gates of heaven are opened, and the gates of hell are closed, and the devils are chained. In this month, there is a night that is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of its goodness and blessings is truly deprived.'"

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب ماہ رمضان قریب آتا تو نبی کریم ﷺ فرماتے کہ تمہارے پاس رمضان کا مہینہ آ رہا ہے یہ مبارک مہینہ ہے اللہ نے تم پر اس کے روزے فرض کئے ہیں اس مبارک مہینے میں جنت کے دروازے کھول دئیے جاتے ہیں اور جہنم کے دروازے بند کردیئے جاتے ہیں اور شیاطین کو جکڑ دیا جاتا ہے۔ اس مہینے میں ایک رات ایسی بھی ہے جو ہزار مہینوں سے بہتر ہے جو شخص اس کی خیر و برکت سے محروم رہا وہ مکمل طور پر محروم ہی رہا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab mah e Ramzan qareeb aata to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmate keh tumhare pass Ramzan ka mahina aa raha hai yeh mubarak mahina hai Allah ne tum per is ke roze farz kiye hain is mubarak mahine mein jannat ke darwaze khol diye jate hain aur jahannam ke darwaze band kar diye jate hain aur shayateen ko jakar diya jata hai is mahine mein ek raat aisi bhi hai jo hazar mahinon se behtar hai jo shakhs is ki khair o barkat se mehroom raha woh mukammal tor per mehroom hi raha
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَشِّرُ أَصْحَابَهُ: " قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ، شَهْرٌ مُبَارَكٌ افْتَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامَهُ، يُفْتَحُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيُغْلَقُ فِيهِ أَبْوَابُ الْجَحِيمِ، وَتُغَلُّ فِيهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ، فِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ، مَنْ حُرِمَ خَيْرَهَا فَقَدْ حُرِمَ" .
