Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9229
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A Prophet amongst the Prophets was stung by an ant and he ordered that the colony of ants should be burnt, and Allah revealed to him, 'Because of an ant's sting you have burnt a community from amongst the communities which glorify Me."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ایک نبی نے کسی درخت کے نیچے پڑاؤ کیا انہیں کسی چیونٹی نے کاٹ لیا انہوں نے چیونٹیوں کے پورے بل کو آگ لگا دی اللہ نے ان کے پاس وحی بھیجی کہ ایک چیونٹی نے آپ کو کاٹا اور آپ نے تسبیح کرنے والی ایک پوری امت کو ختم کردیا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki ek nabi ne kisi darakht ke neeche padav kiya unhen kisi chewnti ne kaat liya unhon ne chewntyoun ke pure bill ko aag laga di Allah ne unke pass wahi bheji ki ek chewnty ne aap ko kaata aur aap ne tasbeeh karne wali ek puri ummat ko khatam kar diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أن أبا هريرة ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " قَرَصَتْ نَمْلَةٌ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ، فَأَمَرَ بِقَرْيَةِ النَّمْلِ، فَأُحْرِقَتْ، فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ: فِي أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ، أَهْلَكْتَ أُمَّةً مِنَ الْأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ؟!" .
