Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9267
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that dates of charity were brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave an order regarding them and took Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) or Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) on his shoulder. His saliva started flowing on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked up and saw a date in his mouth. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his hand in his mouth, took out the date and said, "Don't you know that the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) does not eat charity?".

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس صدقہ کی کھجوریں لائی گئیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کے متعلق ایک حکم دے دیا اور حضرت حسن رضی اللہ عنہ یا حسین رضی اللہ عنہ کو اپنے کندھے پر بٹھا لیا ان کا لعاب نبی کریم ﷺ پر بہنے لگا نبی کریم ﷺ نے سر اٹھا کر دیکھا تو ان کے منہ میں ایک کھجور نظر آئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنا ہاتھ ڈال کر منہ میں سے وہ کھجور نکالی اور فرمایا کیا تمہیں پتہ نہیں ہے کہ آل محمد ﷺ صدقہ نہیں کھاتی۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass sadqa ki khajoorein laayi gayin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke mutalliq ek hukm de diya aur Hazrat Hassan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ya Hussain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko apne kandhe par bitha liya un ka laab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par behne laga Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sar utha kar dekha to un ke munh mein ek khajoor nazar aayi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apna hath daal kar munh mein se woh khajoor nikali aur farmaya kya tumhein pata nahin hai ki Aal Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sadqa nahin khati.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ: إن رسولَ الله صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِتَمْرٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَأَمَرَ فِيهِ بِأَمْرٍ، فَحَمَلَ الْحَسَنَ أَوِ الْحُسَيْنَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ، فَجَعَلَ لُعَابُهُ يَسِيلُ عَلَيْهِ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يَلُوكُ تَمْرَةً، فَحَرَّكَ خَدَّهُ , وَقَالَ: " أَلْقِهَا يَا بُنَيَّ، أَمَا شَعَرْتَ أَنَّ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا يَأْكُلُونَ الصَّدَقَةَ" .
