Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9478
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Imam is a guarantor and the Mu'adhdhin (one who calls to prayer) is entrusted with a trust. O Allah, guide the Imams and forgive the Mu'adhdhins."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام ضامن ہوتا ہے اور مؤذن امانت دار اے اللہ اماموں کی رہنمائی فرما اور موذنین کی مغفرت فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya imam zaman hota hai aur muazzin amanat dar hai Allah imamon ki rehnumai farma aur muazzinon ki maghfirat farma.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ" .
