Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 994
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, that on the Day of the Battle of the Trench, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “May Allah fill their (the polytheists’) houses and their graves with fire, for they prevented us from praying the afternoon prayer until the sun had set.”

سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ خندق کے دن نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ ان (مشرکین) کے گھروں اور قبروں کو آگ سے بھر دے کہ انہوں نے ہمیں نماز عصر نہیں پڑھنے دی یہاں تک کہ سورج غروب ہو گیا۔“
Sayyidina Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ghazwa khandaq ke din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Allah in (mushrikeen) ke gharon aur qabron ko aag se bhar de ke unhon ne hamen namaz asar nahin parhne di yahan tak ke sooraj ghuroob ho gaya."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ:" شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ، أَوْ كَادَتْ الشَّمْسُ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ، مَلَأَ اللَّهُ أَجْوَافَهُمْ، أَوْ قُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا".
