Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9996
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you wakes up from his sleep, he should not put his hand in the utensil till he has washed it thrice, for he does not know where his hand was during the night.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی نیند سے بیدار ہو تو اپنا ہاتھ کسی برتن میں اس وقت تک نہ ڈالے جب تک اسے دھو نہ لے کیونکہ اسے خبر نہیں کہ رات بھر اس کا ہاتھ کہاں رہا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs apni neend se bedaar ho to apna hath kisi bartan mein us waqt tak na dale jab tak use dho na le kyunki use khabar nahin ki raat bhar uska hath kahan raha.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ , قََالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق ، قََالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ، فَلْيَغْسِلْ يَدَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهَا فِي إِنَائِهِ، فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ بَاتَتْ يَدُهُ" .
