Hamran bin Abaan narrated: I saw Uthman bin Affan performing ablution. He poured water on his hands three times and washed them, then rinsed his mouth and nose. Then he washed his face three times and washed his right arm up to the elbow three times, and then his left arm in the same manner. Then he wiped his head and washed his right foot three times, and then his left foot in the same manner. Then he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performing ablution like this, and you (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine and then prays two rak'ahs without allowing his mind to wander, then his previous sins will be forgiven."

(٢٦٣) حمران بن ابان فرماتے ہیں : میں نے سیدنا عثمان بن عفان (رض) کو وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا، آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈالا، پھر ان کو دھویا، پھر کلی کی اور ناک جھاڑا، پھر اپنے چہرے کو تین مرتبہ دھویا، پھر اپنے دائیں ہاتھ کو کہنی سمیت تین مرتبہ دھویا، پھر اسی طرح بائیں کو دھویا، پھر اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، پھر تین مرتبہ اپنا دائیں پاؤں دھویا، پھر اسی طرح بائیں پاؤں دھویا، پھر فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اس طرح وضو کرتے دیکھا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” جس نے میرے اس وضو جیسا وضو کیا، پھر دو رکعتیں پڑھیں اور اپنے دل کے اندر کوئی خیال پیدا نہیں کیا تو اس کے پہلے معاف کردیے جائیں گے۔ “
263 Imran bin Aban farmate hain : maine Sayyidna Usman bin Affan (RA) ko wuzu karte huye dekha, aap ne apne hath par teen martaba pani dala, phir un ko dhoya, phir kuli ki aur nak jhara, phir apne chehre ko teen martaba dhoya, phir apne daayen hath ko kahni samet teen martaba dhoya, phir isi tarah baayen ko dhoya, phir apne sar ka masah kiya, phir teen martaba apna daayen paon dhoya, phir isi tarah baayen paon dhoya, phir farmaya : maine Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko is tarah wuzu karte dekha aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : " Jis ne mere is wuzu jaisa wuzu kiya, phir do rakaten parhin aur apne dil ke andar koi khayal paida nahin kiya to us ke pehle maaf kar diye jayenge. ".
(264) (a) It is narrated from Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that he (may Allah be pleased with him) asked for water...
(b) In it is that then he put his right hand in the vessel and dipped it in the water, then he lifted his hand wet with water and then wiped it on his left, then wiped his head once with both his hands...
(c) At the end of it is: Whoever likes that he should look at the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then this is your ablution.

(٢٦٤) (الف) سیدنا علی (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (رض) نے پانی منگوایا۔۔۔
(ب) اس میں ہے کہ پھر آپ نے اپنا دایاں ہاتھ برتن میں داخل کیا اور اس کو پانی میں ڈبو دیا، پھر پانی سے گیلے ہاتھ کو اٹھایا اور پھر اپنے بائیں پر پھیرا، پھر ان دونوں ہاتھوں کے ساتھ ایک مرتبہ اپنے سر کا مسح کیا ۔۔۔
(ج) اس کے آخر میں ہے : جس شخص کو اچھا لگے کہ وہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے وضو کی طرف دیکھے تو یہ آپ کا وضو ہے۔
(264) (alif) syedna ali (rz) se riwayat hai keh aap (rz) ne pani manguwaya
(be) is mein hai keh phir aap ne apna dayan hath bartan mein dakhil kya aur is ko pani mein dubo diya, phir pani se geele hath ko uthaya aur phir apne bayein per phehra, phir in donon hathon ke sath ek martaba apne sar ka masah kya
(jeem) is ke akhir mein hai : jis shakhs ko acha lage keh woh rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke wuzu ki taraf dekhe to yeh aap ka wuzu hai.
Zar bin Hubaish narrated from Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyidina Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the ablution of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said: He wiped his head and drops of water were flowing and he washed his feet three times, then he said: This was the ablution of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(٢٦٥) زر بن حبیش نے سیدنا علی (رض) سے سنا اور سیدنا علی (رض) سے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے وضو کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا۔۔۔ اس میں ہے کہ آپ نے اپنے سر پر مسح کیا اور پانی کے قطرے بہہ رہے تھے اور اپنے پاؤں کو تین تین مرتبہ دھویا، پھر فرمایا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا وضو اس طرح تھا۔
Zar bin Habish ne Sayyidna Ali (RA) se suna aur Sayyidna Ali (RA) se Nabi (SAW) ke wuzu ke baare mein poocha gaya... Is mein hai ke aap ne apne sar par masah kiya aur pani ke qatre beh rahe the aur apne paon ko teen teen martaba dhoya, phir farmaya: Rasul Allah (SAW) ka wuzu is tarah tha.
Ata' bin Yasar narrated to us that Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) asked us, "Would you like me to show you how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ablution?" Then he asked for a vessel containing water... He took a handful of water, then he rinsed his hand and wiped his head and ears.

(٢٦٦) عطاء بن یسار سے روایت ہے کہ ہم سے ابن عباس (رض) نے پوچھا : کیا تم پسند کرتے ہو کہ میں تم کو دکھاؤں، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کس طرح وضو کرتے تھے ؟ پھر آپ نے ایک برتن منگوایا جس میں پانی تھا۔۔۔ اس میں ہے کہ آپ نے پانی کا ایک چلو لیا، پھر اپنے ہاتھ کو صاف کیا اور اپنے سر اور کانوں کا مسح کیا۔
Ata bin Yasar se riwayat hai ki hum se Ibn Abbas (RA) ne poocha: kya tum pasand karte ho ki main tum ko dikhaoon, Rasool Allah (SAW) kis tarah wuzu karte thay? Phir aap ne ek bartan mangwaya jis mein pani tha... Is mein hai ki aap ne pani ka ek chulu liya, phir apne hath ko saaf kiya aur apne sar aur kaanon ka masah kiya.
