Talha narrated from his grandfather that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would wipe his head, he would start from the front of his head with his hands, until he reached behind his ears.

(٢٧٧) طلحہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے سر کا مسح کرتے تو اپنے ہاتھوں کو سر کے سامنے سے شروع کرتے، یہاں تک کہ اس کو اپنے کانوں کے پیچھے تک لے جاتے۔
Talha apne dada se naql farmate hain ki jab Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne sar ka masah karte to apne hathon ko sar ke samne se shuru karte, yahan tak ki usko apne kanon ke peeche tak le jate.
(278) (a) Talha narrated from his grandfather that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution. He wiped his head and ears and passed his hands over his turban.
(b) Laith bin Abi Salim said: He wiped his head and reached the beginning of the turban, but he did not mention passing his hands over the turban.

(٢٧٨) (الف) طلحہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو وضو کرتے دیکھا، آپ نے اپنے سر اور کانوں کا مسح کیا اور اپنے ہاتھوں کو گدی پر پھیرا۔
(ب) لیث بن ابی سلیم فرماتے ہیں : اپنے سر کا مسح کیا اور گدی کے شروع حصے تک پہنچ گئے، لیکن گدی پر ہاتھ پھیرنے کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔
(278) (alif) talha apne dada se naql farmate hain ki unhon ne nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko wazu karte dekha, aap ne apne sar aur kanon ka masah kia aur apne hathon ko gadi par phehra.
(be) laith bin abi salim farmate hain : apne sar ka masah kia aur gadi ke shuru hisse tak pahunche, lekin gadi par hath phirne ka zikar nahin kia.
(279) Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he used to wipe his pillow along with his head when he would wipe his head.
(b) This narration is weak, its chain of narration has weakness. And Allah knows best.

(٢٧٩) سیدنا ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ جب اپنے سر کا مسح کرتے تھے تو اپنے سر کے ساتھ گدی کا بھی مسح کرتے۔
(ب) یہ روایت موقوف ہے، اس کی سند میں ضعف ہے۔ واللہ اعلم ۔
(279) Sayyidina Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ki jab apne sar ka masah karte the to apne sar ke sath gaddi ka bhi masah karte. (b) Yeh riwayat mauqoof hai, is ki sanad mein zaeef hai. Wallahu a'lam.
