Chapter on the obligation of Zakat al-Fitr on the people of the desert.
باب وجوب زكاة الفطر على أهل البادية

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered an announcer to announce in the valley of Makkah that Sadaqat-ul-Fitr is obligatory for every Muslim, young or old, male or female, free or slave, city dweller or villager, a Sa' of barley or a Sa' of dates.

(٧٧٢٦) عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اعلان کرنے والے کو حکم دیا کہ وہ بطن مکہ میں اعلان کرے کہ صدقہ فطر ہر مسلمان پر واجب ہی وہ چھوٹا ہو یا بڑا، مذکر ہو یا مونث، آزاد ہو یا غلام، شہری ہو یا دیہاتی ایک صاع جو یا ایک صاع کھجور سے۔
(7726) Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne elaan karne wale ko hukum diya ke wo batn Makkah mein elaan kare ke sadqa fitr har Musalman par wajib hai wo chhota ho ya bada, muzakkar ho ya monis, azad ho ya ghulam, shehri ho ya dehati ek sa'a jau ya ek sa'a khajoor se.
'Amr bin Shu'aib (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he was informed that the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded the announcer to announce that Sadaqatul Fitr is obligatory upon every Muslim.... He narrated the entire Hadith. Ata' said: Two mudd of wheat or one sa' of dates or barley, and in this regard, the slave and the free are equal.

(٧٧٢٧) عمرو بن شعیب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ مجھے یہ بات پہنچی کہ پیارے پیغمبر (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اعلان والے کو حکم دیا کہ وہ اعلان کر دے کہ ہر مسلمان پر صدقہ فطر ہے۔۔۔ پوری حدیث بیان کی۔ عطاء فرماتے ہیں : دو مد گندم کے یا ایک صاع کھجور کایا جو کا اور اس میں غلام و آزاد برابر ہیں۔
Amr bin Shoaib (RA) farmate hain ke mujhe yeh baat pahunchi ke pyare paigambar ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne elan wale ko hukum diya ke woh elan kar de ke har musalman par sadaqah fitr hai... puri hadees bayan ki. Ata farmate hain: do mudd gandum ke ya ek sa'a khajoor ka ya jau ka aur is mein ghulam o azad barabar hain.
(7728) Narrated `Amr bin Shu`aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The Sadaqat-ul-Fitr is obligatory on every Muslim, whether a city dweller or a villager." Abu `Isa said: I asked Imam Bukhari about this Hadith and he said: Jarir did not hear from `Amr bin Shu`aib.

(٧٧٢٨) عمرو بن شعیب اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : صدقہ فطر ہر شہری ودیہاتی دونوں پر ہے۔ ابو عیسیٰ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے امام بخاری سے اس حدیث کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انھوں نے فرمایا : جریج نے عمرو بن شعیب سے نہیں سنا۔
7728 Amr bin Shoaib apne walid se aur wo apne dada se naqal farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Sadqa fitr har shehri wa dehati donon par hai. Abu Aesa farmate hain: main ne Imam Bukhari se is hadees ke bare mein poocha to unhon ne farmaya: Jareej ne Amr bin Shoaib se nahi suna.
