Chapter on righteous deeds during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
باب العمل الصالح في العشر من ذي الحجة
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 8392
Saeed bin Jubair bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah)." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?" He said: "Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except a man who goes out with his wealth and his life and does not return with either of them."
Abu Mu'awiyah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'There are no days that are greater in the sight of Allah or in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so increase in them the saying of Tahlil (La ilaha illallah), Takbir (Allahu Akbar) and Tahmid (Alhamdulillah).'"

(٨٣٩٢) سعید بن جبیربن عباس (رض) سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کو نسا عمل ہے جو عام ایام میں افضل و بہترین ہو عشرہ ذولحجہ سے۔ کوئی عمل نہیں جو عام ایام میں افضل ہوعشرہ ذی الحجہ سے۔ انھوں نے کہا : اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! جہاد فی سبیل اللہ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : نہ ہی جھاد فی سبیل اللہ الا کہ وہ نکلا مال ونفس (جان) کے ساتھ مگر ان دونوں میں سے کوئی چیز واپس نہ پلٹی۔
ابو معاویہ کہتے ہیں : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی ایسے ایام نہیں جن میں کیا ہوا کوئی عمل صالح اللہ کو ان ایام سے زیادہ محبوب ہو۔
(8392) Saeed bin Jubair bin Abbas (RA) se bayan karte hain ki Nabi Kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Koi na sa amal hai jo aam ayyam mein afzal o behtarin ho Ashra Zul Hijjah se. Koi amal nahi jo aam ayyam mein afzal ho Ashra Zi'l-Hijjah se. Unhon ne kaha: Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Jihad fi sabilillah. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Nahi, Jihad fi sabilillah illa ki woh nikla maal o nafs (jaan) ke saath magar in dono mein se koi cheez wapas na palti.
Abu Ma'awiyah kahte hain: Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Koi aise ayyam nahi jin mein kiya hua koi amal salih Allah ko in ayyam se zyada mahboob ho.
Hunaid bin Khalid narrates to us from some of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to fast on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Ashura, three days of every month, as well as every Monday and Thursday of every month.

(٨٣٩٣) ہنیدبن خالد بعض ازواج النبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نو ذوالحج کا روزہ رکھا کرتے تھے اور عاشور کا بھی اور تین روزے ہر مہینے کے اسی طرح ہر مہینے سے پیر اور خمس جمعرات کا۔
8393 Hanid bin Khalid baaz azwaj un Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) 9 Zulhijja ka roza rakha karte the aur Ashura ka bhi aur teen roze har maheene ke isi tarah har maheene se peer aur khums jumaraat ka.
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasting for ten consecutive days.
(Imam Muslim narrates in Sahih Muslim on the authority of Ishaq bin Ibrahim that the narration with affirmation is stronger and more correct than the narration of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him)).

(٨٣٩٤) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں نے کبھی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دس دنوں میں روزے رکھتے نہیں دیکھا۔
(امام مسلم صحیح میں اسحاق بن ابراہیم کے حوالے سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ اثبات والی بات فقی سے زیادہ بہتر اور صحیح ہے حدیث بن عباس (رض) کے حوالے سے۔ )
(8394) Syeda Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) bayan karti hain ke maine kabhi Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko das dinon mein rozey rakhte nahin dekha. (Imam Muslim Sahih mein Ishaq bin Ibrahim ke hawale se bayan karte hain ke isbat wali baat fiqay se zyada behtar aur sahih hai hadees bin Abbas (Razi Allah Anhu) ke hawale se.)
