Chapter on what a woman in ihram wears of clothing.
باب ما تلبس المرأة المحرمة من الثياب
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 9075
Abdullah bin Umar narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbidding women in the state of Ihram from wearing gloves, Niqab (face veil), and clothes dyed with Wars and saffron. After that, they can wear whatever clothes they like, yellow, silk, jewelry, pants, shirts, or socks.

(٩٠٧٥) عبداللہ بن عمر نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا کہ آپ نے عورتوں کو حالت احرام میں دستانے، نقاب اور ورس وزعفران لگے کپڑے پہننے سے منع کیا ۔ اس کے بعد وہ جو چاہے کپڑے پہن سکتی ہے ، زرد، ریشمی، زیور، شلوار قمیص یا موزے۔
(9075) Abdullah bin Umar ne Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna ke aap ne auraton ko halat ehraam mein dastane niqab aur wars wajaafran lage kapde pehenne se mana kya Iske baad wo jo chahe kapde pehen sakti hai zard reshmi zewar shalwar qameez ya moze.
(9076) (a) Salim bin Abdullah narrates: Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to order the cutting of socks for a woman in Ihram. Then, Safiyyah bint Abi Ubayd told him that she was told by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had given women the concession to wear socks. So, he (Abdullah bin Umar) also stopped (ordering to cut them).
(b) Abu Dawud said: Abdah and Muhammad bin Salamah narrated from Ibn Ishaq and Nafi' up to the words: "It is from the adornment of the inhabitants of Paradise." They did not mention the wording after that.

(٩٠٧٦) (الف) سالم بن عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) محرمہ عورت کے لیے موزے کاٹنے کا حکم دیتے تھے، پھر ان کو صفیہ بنت عبید نے بتایا کہ اسے سیدہ عائشہ (رض) نے بتایا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عورتوں کو موزوں کی رخصت دی ہے تو انھوں نے بھی چھوڑ دیا۔
(ب) ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں : عبدہ اور محمد بن سلمہ نے ابن اسحاق سے اور نافع سے اس قول تک ذکر کیا ہے : وم اس الورس الزعفران من الثیاب، اس کے بعد والی عبارت دونوں نے ذکر نہیں کی۔
9076 A Salim bin Abdullah farmate hain ki Abdullah bin Umar (RA) mahrame aurat ke liye moze katne ka hukum dete thay, phir unko Safiya bint Ubaid ne bataya ki use Sayyida Ayesha (RA) ne bataya hai ki Rasool Allah (SAW) ne auraton ko mozon ki rukhsat di hai to unhon ne bhi chhor diya.
B Abudaud farmate hain : Abda aur Muhammad bin Salma ne Ibn Ishaq se aur Nafi se is qaul tak zikar kiya hai : Wa misal waris alzufraan min althiyab, iske baad wali ibarat donon ne zikar nahi ki.
Salem bin Abdullah reported from his father that he used to give religious verdicts (Fatwa) to women to cut their socks. However, when Safiyya narrated to him from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to give verdicts to women not to cut them, he stopped giving his previous verdict.

(٩٠٧٧) سالم بن عبداللہ اپنے والد گرامی سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ عورتوں کو فتویٰ دیا کرتے تھے کہ وہ اپنے موزے کاٹ لیں حتیٰ کہ ان کو صفیہ نے عائشہ (رض) سے روایت نقل کی کہ وہ عورتوں کو نہ کاٹنے کا فتویٰ دیتی ہیں تو وہ بھی رک گئے۔
(9077) Salim bin Abdullah apne walid girami se riwayat karte hain ki woh auraton ko fatwa diya karte the ki woh apne moze kat len hatta ki un ko Safiya ne Ayesha (Raz) se riwayat naqal ki ki woh auraton ko na katne ka fatwa deti hain to woh bhi ruk gaye.
Safiyah bint Shaybah reported that I was with Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, when a woman from Banu Abdildar, who was called Tamlik, came to her. She said, “O Mother of the Believers, my daughter has sworn an oath that she will not wear jewelry during the Hajj season." Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said, “Tell her that the Mother of the Believers gives her an oath that she must wear jewelry.”

(٩٠٧٨) صفیہ بنت شیبہ فرماتی ہیں کہ میں سیدہ عائشہ (رض) کے پاس تھی کہ ایک عورت بنی عبدالدار سے آئی، جس کو تملک کہا جاتا تھا۔ اس نے کہا : اے ام المومنین ! میری فلاں بیٹی نے قسم اٹھائی ہے کہ وہ موسم (حج) میں زیور نہیں پہنے گی تو عائشہ (رض) نے فرمایا : اس کو کہہ کہ ام المومنین تجھ کو قسم دیتی ہے کہ تو ضرور زیور پہن۔
9078 Safiya bint Shaiba farmati hain keh main Sayyida Ayesha (RA) ke paas thi keh aik aurat Bani Abdaldar se aai, jis ko Tamlik kaha jata tha. Uss ne kaha: Aye Ummulmomineen! meri falan beti ne qasam uthai hai keh woh mausam (hajj) mein zewar nahin pehne gi to Ayesha (RA) ne farmaya: uss ko keh keh Ummulmomineen tujh ko qasam deti hai keh tu zaroor zewar pehen.
Ibn Abi Mulaika reported that a woman asked Sayyida Aisha (ra): What should a woman wear during ihram? She said: She can wear clothes and jewelry of all colors.

(٩٠٧٩) ابن باباہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نے سیدہ عائشہ (رض) سے سوال کیا کہ عورت احرام میں کیا پہنے ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : وہ ہر طرح کے رنگین کپڑے اور زیور پہنے۔
(9079) ibne baba farmate hain ke aik aurat ne sayyida ayesha (raz) se sawal kiya ke aurat ehram mein kya pehne? to unhon ne farmaya: woh har tarah ke rangeen kapre aur zewar pehne.
