Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Idtiba' (exposing the right shoulder and arm by placing the upper garment under the right armpit and tying its ends over the left shoulder, which is done while assuming Ihram), performed Istilam (touching the Black Stone), and said the Talbiyah (the proclamation made by pilgrims upon entering the state of Ihram) in a loud voice. Then he ran three rounds (of Tawaf) and when he reached near the Yemeni Corner and disappeared from the sight of the Quraysh, he would walk slowly, and when he appeared before them, he would run. The Quraysh said: "He looks like a fawn." Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "So this became the Sunnah (established practice)."

(٩٢٤٩) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اضطباع کیا (احرام باندھ کر ایک کندھے کو ننگا کرنا اضطباع کہلاتا ہے) استلام کیا اور تکبیر بلند کی ۔ پھر تین چکر دوڑے اور جب وہ رکن یمانی کے پاس پہنچتے اور قریش سے غائب ہوجاتے تو آہستہ چلتے، پھر ان پر ظاہر ہوتے تو دوڑتے، قریش کہتے : یہ تو ہرنیوں کی طرح ہیں ، ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : پس یہ سنت بن گئی۔
9249 Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi (SAW) ne iztiba kiya (ehram bandh kar ek kandhe ko nanga karna iztiba kehlata hai) istalam kiya aur takbeer buland ki phir teen chakkar dore aur jab woh rukne yamani ke pass pahuchte aur quresh se ghaib hojate to aahista chalte phir un par zahir hote to daurte quresh kehte ye to hiranon ki tarah hain Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain pas ye sunnat ban gai
Nafi' narrates that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would enter Makkah at the time of Chasht (prayer), approach the Ka'bah, touch it and say, "Bismillah, Allahu Akbar."

(٩٢٥٠) نافع فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن عمر (رض) مکہ میں چاشت کے وقت داخل ہوتے، بیت اللہ کے پاس آتے استلام کرتے اور بسم اللہ واللہ اکبر کہتے۔
(9250) Nafi farmate hain ki Ibn Umar (RA) Makkah mein chaasht ke waqt dakhil hote, Baitullah ke paas aate istalaam karte aur Bismillah wallahu akbar kahte.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), whenever he passed by the Black Stone and saw a crowd there, he would turn to it, say Takbir and say: "O Allah! I testify to the truth of Your Book and I follow the Sunnah of the third Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

(٩٢٥١) علی (رض) جب حجر اسود کے پاس سے گزرتے اور وہاں رش دیکھتے تو اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر تکبیر کہتے اور فرماتے : اے اللہ ! تیری کتاب کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے اور تیسرے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سنت کو ادا کرتے ہوئے۔
(9251) Ali (RA) jab Hajar Aswad ke pass se guzarte aur wahan rush dekhte to us ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar takbeer kehte aur farmate : Aye Allah ! Teri kitab ki tasdeeq karte huye aur teesre nabi (SAW) ki sunnat ko ada karte huye.
"O Allah, with faith in You, confirming Your Book, and following the Sunnah of Your Prophet."

(٩٢٥٢) علی (رض) جب حجر اسود کا استلام کرتے تو کہتے : اے اللہ ! تجھ پر ایمان لاتے ہوئے ، تیری کتاب کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے اور تیرے نبی کی سنت کی پیروی کرتے ہوئے۔
9252 Ali (RA) jab Hajar Aswad ka istalaam karte to kehte: Aye Allah! Tujh per imaan laate hue, teri kitaab ki tasdeeq karte hue aur tere nabi ki sunnat ki pairavi karte hue.
