Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that in the Hajj prior to Hajj-ul-Wida (Farewell Hajj), in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) as the leader, he (the Prophet) sent me on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhul-Hijjah) to announce among the people that after this year no polytheist would perform Hajj, nor would anyone circumambulate the Ka'bah naked.

(٩٣٠٨) سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حجۃ الوداع سے پہلے جس حج میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ابوبکر (رض) کو امیر مقرر کیا تھا اس حج میں انھوں نے مجھے یوم نحر کو لوگوں میں یہ اعلان کرنے کے لیے بھیجا کہ آج کے بعد کوئی مشرک حج نہ کرے اور نہ ہی کوئی برہنہ ہو کر بیت اللہ کا طواف کرے۔
Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain ki Hajj al-Wida se pehle jis Hajj mein Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Abu Bakr (RA) ko ameer muqarrar kiya tha uss Hajj mein unhon ne mujhe Yaum-e-Nahar ko logon mein ye elaan karne ke liye bheja ki aaj ke baad koi mushrik Hajj na kare aur na hi koi barahna ho kar Baitullah ka tawaf kare.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that women used to circumambulate the Ka'bah naked and say: "Today, some or all of it will be exposed, and whatever is exposed, I do not consider it unlawful." So, this verse was revealed: "O children of Adam! Take your adornment at every masjid."

(٩٣٠٩) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ عورت بھی بیت اللہ کا برہنہ ہو کر طواف کیا کرتی اور کہتی : آج بعض حصہ یا سارا ہی ظاہر ہوگا اور جو ظاہر ہوا ، میں اس کو حلال نہیں قرار دیتی تو یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : اے بنی آدم ! ہر مسجد کے پاس اپنی زینت کا اہتمام کرلو۔
(9309) Ibne Abbas (RA) farmate hain keh aurat bhi Baitullah ka barhana ho kar tawaf kiya karti aur kehti: Aaj baaz hissa ya sara hi zahir hoga aur jo zahir hua, main us ko halal nahi karar deti to yeh ayat nazil hui: Ae Bani Adam! Har masjid ke paas apni zeenat ka ehtimam karlo.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: “In the pre-Islamic period of ignorance, a woman would perform Tawaf around the Ka'bah naked, except for a piece of cloth on her private parts, and she would say, ‘Today some or all will be exposed, and whatever is exposed, I do not declare unlawful.’”

(٩٣١٠) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : جاہلیت میں عورت برہنہ ہو کر بیت اللہ کا طواف کرتی اور اپنی شرمگاہ پر کپڑے کا ایک ٹکڑا رکھتی اور کہتی : آج کچھ یا سارا ہی ظاہر ہوگا تو جو ظاہر ہوا میں اس کو حلال قرار نہیں دیتی۔
(9310) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain : jahiliyat mein aurat barhana ho kar baitullah ka tawaf karti aur apni sharamgah par kapre ka ek tukda rakhti aur kehti : aaj kuch ya sara hi zahir hoga to jo zahir hua mein us ko halal qarar nahin deti.
