Chapter on the sermon by the Imam in Mina on the middle days of Tashreeq.
باب خطبة الإمام بمنى أوسط أيام التشريق
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 9680
Abu Naji narrates from two men of Bani Bakr that we saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivering a sermon during the Days of Tashreeq, while we were near his mount, and this was the sermon that he delivered in Mina.

(٩٦٨٠) ابو نجیح بنی بکر کے دو آدمیوں سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ایام تشریق کے درمیان خطبہ دیتے ہوئے دیکھا ، جب کہ ہم آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی سواری کے پاس تھے اور یہی وہ خطبہ ہے جو آپ نے منیٰ میں ارشاد فرمایا۔
9680 abu najih bani bakr ke do aadmiyon se riwayat karte hain ki hum ne rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko ayyam tashreeq ke darmiyan khutba dete huye dekha, jab ki hum aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki sawari ke pass the aur yahi woh khutba hai jo aap ne mina mein irshad farmaya.
Sara bint Nahban narrated that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "Do you know what day this is?" And it was the day that was called the Day of Sacrifice. The people said: "Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) know best." You (ﷺ) said: "This is the best day of the Days of Tashreeq. Do you know what town this is?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ) know best." You (ﷺ) said: "This is Mash'ar al-Haram." Then you (ﷺ) said: "I do not know if I will meet you again after this year. Beware! Your wealth, your blood, and your honor are sacred to one another, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this town of yours, until you meet your Lord and He will ask you about your deeds. Beware! Let the one who is present convey it to the one who is absent. Beware! Have I conveyed it?" And when we arrived in Medina, you (ﷺ) passed away a short while later.

(٩٦٨١) سراء بنت نہبان فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو حجۃ الوداع میں یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : ” کیا تم جانتے ہو یہ کون سا ہے ؟ “ اور یہ وہ دن تھا جسے یوم الرؤس کہا جاتا تھا، لوگوں نے کہا : اللہ اور اس کا رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہی زیادہ جانتے ہیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” یہ ایام تشریق کا افضل دن ہے۔ کیا تم جانتے ہو یہ کون سا شہر ہے۔ “ انھوں نے کہا : اللہ اور اس کا رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہی زیادہ جانتے ہیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ مشعر حرام ہے ، پھر فرمایا : ” مجھے معلوم نہیں شاید میں تمہیں اس کے بعد مل سکوں یا نہ، خبردار ! تمہارے مال، خون اور عزتیں تم پر تمہارے اس شہر میں اس دن کی طرح حرام ہیں حتیٰ کہ تم اپنے رب سے جا ملو تو وہ تمہارے اعمال کے بارے میں تم سے سوال کرے گا، خبردار ! تمہارے قریب والے دور والے تک یہ بات پہنچا دیں، خبر دار ! کیا میں نے پہنچا دیا ہے ؟ “ جب ہم مدینہ پہنچے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کچھ ہی مدت بعد وفات پا گئے۔
9681 Sara bint Nahban farmati hain keh maine Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Hajj tul Wida mein yeh kehte huye suna: "kia tum jante ho yeh konsa hai?" Aur yeh woh din tha jise yaum ur ro'oos kaha jata tha, logon ne kaha: Allah aur us ka Rasul (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hi ziada jante hain, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "yeh ayyam e tashreeq ka afzal din hai, kia tum jante ho yeh konsa shehar hai" unhon ne kaha: Allah aur us ka Rasul (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hi ziada jante hain, aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: yeh Mash'ar e Haram hai, phir farmaya: "mujhe maloom nahi shayad mein tumhein is ke baad mil sakun ya nah, khabar dar! tumhare maal, khoon aur izzati tum par tumhare is shehar mein is din ki tarah haram hain hatta keh tum apne Rab se ja milo to woh tumhare amal ke bare mein tum se sawal kare ga, khabar dar! tumhare qareeb wale door wale tak yeh baat pohancha dein, khabar dar! kia maine pohancha diya hai?" Jab hum Madina pahunche to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kuch hi muddat baad wafat pa gaye.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When this Surah "Idha jaa'a nasrullahi wal Fath" (When comes the Help of Allah, and Victory) was revealed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) knew that it was the farewell. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered his she-camel Qaswa, it was saddled, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mounted it and stopped near the rear. When the people gathered, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O people!... etc.

(٩٦٨٢) ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں : جب یہ سورت ” اذا جاء نصر اللہ والفتح “ (جب اللہ کی مدد اور فتح آجائے) نازل ہوئی تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے جان لیا کہ یہ الوداع ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنی اونٹنی قصواء کا حکم دیا اس پر کجاوا کسا گیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سوار ہوئے عقبہ کے پاس ٹھہرے ، لوگ جمع ہوئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے لوگو !۔۔۔ الخ
9682 ibn umar razi farmate hain : jab ye surat " iza jaa nasrullahi walfath " (jab allah ki madad aur fath aajaye) nazil hui to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne jaan liya ke ye alwida hai. aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne apni untni qaswa ka hukum diya us par kujawa kasa gaya, aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) sawar hue aqba ke pass thehre, log jama hue to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : aye logo! ... alk.
