Chapter: The Haram pilgrim can only be compensated for his meat.

Rabi'ah bin Abdullah bin Hudair saw Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) at a watering place, removing the droppings of camels, even though he was in the state of Ihram.

(١٠٠٥٨) ربیعہ بن عبداللہ بن ہدیر نے حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو دیکھا کہ آپ پانی کے گھاٹ پر اونٹوں کی چیچڑیاں نکال رہے تھے۔ حالاں کہ آپ محرم تھے۔
Rabia bin Abdullah bin Hudair ne Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) ko dekha keh aap pani ke ghat par oonton ki cheechriyan nikal rahe thay. Halankeh aap meharam thay.
Rabi'ah ibn Abdullah saw 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) at a watering place, pulling out the dung of camels. And in the narration of Muwatta, he added that he was in the state of Ihram.

(١٠٠٥٩) ربیعہ بن عبداللہ نے حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو دیکھا کہ وہ پانی کے گھاٹ پر اونٹ کی چیچڑیاں نکال رہے تھے اور موطا کی روایت میں انھوں نے زیادہ کیا ہے کہ وہ محرم تھے۔
Rabi'ah bin Abdullah ne Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (Razi Allah Anhu) ko dekha keh woh pani ke ghat par unt ki cheechriyan nikal rahe thay aur mota ki riwayat mein unhon ne ziyadah kya hai keh woh mehram thay.
Rabi'ah ibn Abdullah ibn Hudair saw Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), while he was in the state of ihram, removing the filth stuck to the camel's hump from the muddy water of the watering place.

(١٠٠٦٠) ربیعہ بن عبداللہ بن ہدیر نے حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو دیکھا کہ وہ گھاٹ کے پانی کیکیچڑ سے اونٹ کی چیچڑیاں نکال رہے تھے حالاں کہ وہ محرم تھے۔
Rabiya bin Abdullah bin Huzair ne Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) ko dekha keh woh ghat ke pani ke kichar se unt ki chichriyan nikal rahe thay halankeh woh mehram thay.
(10061) ‘Ikrimah narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to ‘Ikrimah: “Stand up and remove the pus from this camel.” He said: “I am in the state of Ihram.” He said: “Then slaughter it.” So he slaughtered it. Then Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “What do you think now that you have killed the pus? Similarly, Hulmah and Himnanah are also types of pus.”
Abu ‘Ubaid said: “Asma’i (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the small pus is called ‘Qamqamah’. When it grows bigger, it is called ‘Himnanah’. And when it becomes even bigger, it is called ‘Hulmah’.” He said that what Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) meant was that there is no harm if a Muhrim (a person who is in the state of Ihram) removes the pus from a camel. The pus of a camel can be removed with soil or by hand.

(١٠٠٦١) عکرمہ ابن عباس (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے عکرمہ سے کہا : کھڑے ہوجاؤ اور اس اونٹ کی چیچڑی نکالو۔ اس نے کہا : میں محرم ہوں۔ اس نے کہا : تم اس کو قتل کرو۔ اس نے قتل کردیا تو ابن عباس (رض) نے فرمایا : اب آپ کا کیا خیال ہے کہ آپ نے چیچڑی کو قتل کردیا۔ اسی طرح حلمہ اور حمنانہ بھی چیچڑی کی اقسام ہیں۔
ابو عبید فرماتے ہیں : اصمعی (رض) نے فرمایا کہ فرد، چھوٹی چیچڑی قمقامہ کہلاتی ہے جب بڑی ہوجائے تو حمنانہ اور جب زیادہ بڑی ہوجائے تو حلمۃ کہلاتی ہے، فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس (رض) کا ارادہ یہ تھا کہ محرم آدمی اونٹ کی چیچڑی نکالے اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے، اونٹ کی چیچڑی مٹی یا ہاتھ سے نکالی جاسکتی ہے۔
(10061) Akrma Ibn Abbas (RA) se naql farmate hain ke unhon ne Akrma se kaha: Kharay hojao aur is ont ki chichri nikalo. Us ne kaha: Mein muhrim hon. Us ne kaha: Tum is ko qatal karo. Us ne qatal kar diya to Ibn Abbas (RA) ne farmaya: Ab aap ka kya khayal hai ke aap ne chichri ko qatal kar diya. Isi tarah Hilma aur Himnana bhi chichri ki aqsam hain.
Abu Ubaid farmate hain: Asmai (RA) ne farmaya ke fard, chhoti chichri qamqama kehlati hai jab bari ho jaye to himnana aur jab zyada bari ho jaye to hilmat kehlati hai, farmate hain ke Ibn Abbas (RA) ka irada yeh tha ke muhrim aadmi ont ki chichri nikale is mein koi harj nahi hai, ont ki chichri mitti ya hath se nikali ja sakti hai.
Ibn Juraij narrated from Ata that a person in the state of Ihram (ritual purity for Hajj) will give the compensation (Fidyah) of the huntable animal whose meat is eaten.

(١٠٠٦٢) ابن جریج حضرت عطاء سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ محرم آدمی اس شکار کا فدیہ دے گا جس کا گوشت کھایا جاتا ہو۔
Ibn Juraij Hazrat Ata se naql farmate hain ke muharram aadmi us shikaar ka fidya dega jis ka gosht khaya jata ho.
