`Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza narrated from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite in Witr { Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High } and { Say, "O disbelievers } and { Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One, } and when he would return the Salam, he would say, “Subhana al-Malik al-Quddus” three times, and he would raise his voice on the third time.

(٤٨٦٩) عبدالرحمن بن ابزی اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) وتر میں { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الأَعْلَی } اور { قُلْ یَا أَیُّہَا الْکَافِرُونَ } اور { قُلْ ہُوَ اللَّہُ أَحَدٌ} پڑھا کرتے تھے اور جب سلام پھیرتے تو کہتے ” سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ “ تین مرتبہ، تیسری مرتبہ میں آواز کو بلند کرتے تھے۔
4869 Abdur Rahman bin Abza apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) witr mein {Subbihisma Rabbikal A'la} aur {Qul ya ayyuhal kafiruun} aur {Qul Huwal lahu Ahad} parha karte the aur jab salam pherte to kahte "Subhanal Malikil Quddus" teen martaba, teesri martaba mein aawaz ko buland karte the.
Abu bin Ka'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished Witr prayer, he would say: "Subhana al-Malikil Quddus (Glory be to the King, the Holy)."

(٤٨٧٠) ابی بن کعب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب وتر سے سلام پھیرتے تو کہتے : ( (سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِکِ الْقُدُّوسِ ) )
(4870) abi bin kab (rz) farmate hain keh rasool allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab witr se salam pherte to kehte : ( (subhana almaliki alquddus) ).
(4871) 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Harith ibn Hisham reported on the authority of Hadrat 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would supplicate in his last Witr:
"(O Allah) I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, and in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot praise You as You have praised Yourself."

(٤٨٧١) عبدالرحمن بن حارث بن ہشام حضرت علی (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے آخری وتر میں یہ دعا مانگتے۔
( (اللَّہُمَّ إِنِّی أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاکَ مِنْ سَخَطِکَ ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِکَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِکَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْکَ ، لاَ أُحْصِی ثَنَائً عَلَیْکَ أَنْتَ کَمَا أَثْنَیْتَ عَلَی نَفْسِکَ ) )
” اے اللہ میں تیری رضا کے ذریعے تیری ناراضگی سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں اور تیری معافی کے ذریعے تیری سزا سے پناہ چاہتا ہوں اور میں تجھ سے تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں اور میں تیری ثنا اس طرح نہیں کرسکتا جیسے تو نے خود اپنی ثنا کی ہے۔ “
(4871) Abdur Rahman bin Harith bin Hisham Hazrat Ali (RA) se naqal farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) apne aakhri witr mein yeh dua maangte. ((Allahumma inni a'udhu bi rizaaka min sakhatik, wa bi mu'afatika min 'uqoobatik, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsee sana'an 'alaik, anta kama asnaita 'ala nafsik.)) "Aye Allah main teri raza ke zariye teri narazgi se panah mangta hun aur teri maafi ke zariye teri saza se panah chahta hun aur main tujhse teri panah mein aata hun aur main teri sana is tarah nahin kar sakta jaise tune khud apni sana ki hai."
