Chapter on the Congregant Praying Outside the Mosque Following the Imam Inside the Mosque Without a Barrier Between Them
باب المأموم يصلي خارج المسجد بصلاة الإمام في المسجد وليس بينهما حائل

Saleh bin Ibrahim narrates, "I saw Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) praying the Friday prayer behind the Imam in the house of Hamid bin Abdur Rahman bin Auf. There was a path between Hamid's house and the mosque."

(٥٢٤٧) صالح بن ابراہیم فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس بن مالک (رض) کو دیکھا کہ وہ جمعہ کی نماز حمید بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف کے گھر امام کی اقتدا میں پڑھتے۔ حمید کے گھر اور مسجد کے درمیان راستہ تھا۔
5247 Saleh bin Ibrahim farmate hain ki maine Anas bin Malik (RA) ko dekha ki woh Jumma ki namaz Hamid bin Abdur Rahman bin Auf ke ghar Imam ki iqtida mein parhte. Hamid ke ghar aur Masjid ke darmiyaan rasta tha.
'Abd Rabbih said: "I saw Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) praying the Friday prayer in a room near the courtyard of the mosque of Basra, with the Imam."

(٥٢٤٨) عبد ربہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس بن مالک (رض) کو دیکھا وہ جمعہ کی نماز بصرہ کی مسجد کے صحن کے قریب ایک کمرہ میں امام کے ساتھ پڑھتے تھے۔
(5248) Abd Rabah kahte hain ke maine Anas bin Malik (RA) ko dekha woh juma ki namaz Basra ki masjid ke sahn ke qareeb ek kamra mein imam ke sath parhte the.
Hisham ibn Urwah reported from his father that he (his father) used to pray the Friday prayer in the house of Hamid ibn Abdur Rahman. The year that al-Walid performed Hajj and the people were very many, (his house) was located between Hamid's house and the mosque.

(٥٢٤٩) ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ جمعہ کی نماز حمید بن عبد الرحمن کے گھر پڑھتے تھے جس سال ولید نے حج کیا اور لوگ بہت زیادہ تھے تو حمید کے گھر اور مسجد کے درمیان راستہ تھا۔
Hisham bin Urwah apne walid se naqal farmate hain ki woh jumma ki namaz Hamid bin Abdur Rehman ke ghar parhte thay jis sal Waleed ne Hajj kiya aur log bahut zyada thay to Hamid ke ghar aur masjid ke darmiyan rasta tha.
(5250) Malik narrates from a trustworthy man that after the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) death, people would enter the rooms of his wives and pray Friday prayer, because the mosque had become crowded, so they would expand into them, and the rooms of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wives were not inside the mosque. Their doors were on the way to the mosque.
Note: Imam Malik says: If one prays in a courtyard, etc. attached to the mosque, it is sufficient, and people would not find fault with each other. Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) says: If a house is closed and it is forbidden to enter it without permission, then it is not permissible to pray Friday prayer in it with the Imam, even if it is near the mosque, because it is not part of the mosque.

(٥٢٥٠) مالک ایک ثقہ آدمی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ لوگ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی وفات کے بعد آپ کی بیویوں کے حجرہ میں داخل ہوتے تھے اور جمعہ کی نماز پڑھتے، کیونکہ مسجد تنگ ہوگئی تھی وہ اس میں وسعت اختیار کرتے تھے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بیویوں کے حجرے مسجد میں نہ تھے۔ ان کے دروازے مسجد کے راستہ پر تھے۔
نوٹ :۔ امام مالک فرماتے ہیں : جس نے مسجد کے ساتھ ملے ہوئے صحن وغیرہ میں نماز پڑھی تو یہ کفایت کر جائے گی، لوگ ایک دوسرے پر عیب بھی نہیں لگاتے تھے۔ امام مالک (رح) فرماتے ہیں : اگر گھر بند ہو بغیر اجازت کے اس کے اندر داخل ہونا ممنوع ہو تو پھر اس میں جمعہ کی نماز امام کے ساتھ پڑھنا جائز نہیں، اگرچہ وہ گھر مسجد کے قریب ہی کیوں نہ ہو، کیونکہ یہ مسجد کا حصہ نہیں ہے۔
