Muhammad bin Amr bin Ata reported: We were in the company of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. We mentioned the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and Abu Humayd as-Sa'idi, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "I am the most knowledgeable among you about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him," and then he described the entire narration. It contains (these words): "When you prostrated, you placed your hands (on the ground) so that they were neither too spread apart nor were they joined together, and the edges of your toes were facing the qiblah."

(٢٧١٧) محمد بن عمرو بن عطا سے روایت ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ کی ایک مجلس میں موجود تھے۔ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز کا ذکر کیا تو ابوحمید ساعدی (رض) کہنے لگے : میں تم میں سب سے زیادہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز کو یاد کرنے والا ہوں، پھر مکمل حدیث ذکر کی۔ اس میں یہ بھی ہے کہ جب آپ نے سجدہ کیا تو اپنے ہاتھوں کو اس طرح رکھا کہ نہ زیادہ پھیلے ہوئے تھے اور نہ ہی بالکل ملے ہوئے تھے اور آپ کے پاؤں کی انگلیوں کے کنارے بھی قبلہ رخ تھے۔
2717 Muhammad bin Amro bin Ata se riwayat hai ki hum Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke sahaba ki ek majlis mein mojood thay. Hum ne Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz ka zikar kiya to Abu Huraira (RA) kehne lage : mein tum mein sab se zyada Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz ko yaad karne wala hun, phir mukammal hadees zikar ki. Is mein ye bhi hai ki jab ap ne sajda kiya to apne hathon ko is tarah rakha ki na zyada phele hue thay aur na hi bilkul mile hue thay aur ap ke paon ki ungliyon ke kinare bhi qibla rukh thay.
٢٧١٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ جَالِسًا مَعَ نَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْنَا صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،فَقَالَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ:أَنَا كُنْتُ أَحْفَظَكُمْ لِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ،وَفِيهِ:" وَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ غَيْرَ مُفْتَرِشٍ وَلَا قَابِضِهِمَا، وَاسْتَقْبَلَ بِأَطْرَافِ أَصَابِعِ رِجْلَيْهِ الْقِبْلَةَ "رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ
