Hattan bin Abdullah Raqashi narrated that Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) led the people in prayer. When he sat down (at the end of the prayer), a man said: "Prayer is established with goodness and purity." When Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) finished the prayer and said the salam, he asked, "Who among you said these words?" All the people remained silent. They tried to find out who had said these words, but again no one answered. So, he said, "O Hattan! Perhaps you said these words?" I said, "By Allah! I did not say these words, but I fear that you may punish me for this reason." Then, a man stood up and said, "I said these words, and my intention was good." So, Abu Musa said, "Do you not know how you should pray? Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) addressed us, explained the Sunnah clearly to us, and taught us the prayer. He said: 'When you stand up for prayer, then straighten your rows. When the Imam says the Takbir, then say the Takbir, and when he recites { غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ }, then say 'Ameen', may Allah accept your supplication. And when the Imam says the Takbir and bows down, then you too say the Takbir and bow down. The Imam should say the Takbir before you and rise before you. So, this is its equivalent (meaning, he should spend the same amount of time standing before bowing as he does bowing). And when the Imam says ' سَمِعَ اللَّہُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَہُ ', then you say ' رَبَّنَا لَکَ الْحَمْدُ '. When he sits, then the first thing he should say is: ' اَلتَّحِیَّاتُ الطَّیِّبَاتُ الزَّاکِیَاتُ لِلَّہِ ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ أَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللَّہِ وَبَرَکَاتُہُ ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَیْنَا وَعَلَی عِبَادِ اللَّہِ الصَّالِحِیْنَ ، أَشْہَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلٰہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ ، وَأَشْہَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہُ وَرَسُولُہُ ' All verbal, financial, and best deeds are for Allah alone. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.' "

(٢٨٢٧) حطان بن عبداللہ رقاشی نے بیان کیا کہ سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری (رض) نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔ جب آپ (نماز کے آخر میں) بیٹھے تو ایک شخص نے کہا : نماز نیکی اور پاکیزگی کے ساتھ ثابت ہے۔ جب ابوموسیٰ اشعری (رض) نے نماز سے سلام پھیرا تو پوچھا کہ تم میں سے یہ کلمات کس نے کہے تھے ؟ تمام لوگ خاموش رہے۔ انھوں نے پھر دریافت کیا کہ یہ کلمات کس نے کہے تھے ؟ پھر بھی کسی نے جواب نہ دیا۔ تو خود ہی کہنے لگے : اے حطان ! شاید تم نے یہ کلمات کہے ہیں ؟ میں نے کہا : اللہ کی قسم ! میں نے یہ کلمہ نہیں کہا، لیکن مجھے ڈر ہے کہ کہیں آپ مجھے اس وجہ سے سزا نہ دیں ۔ تب ایک شخص نے کھڑے ہو کر کہا : یہ کلمات میں نے کہے ہیں اور میری نیت درست تھی تو ابو موسیٰ نے کہا : کیا تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ تم کس طرح نماز پڑھتے ہو ؟ بیشک رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمیں خطاب فرمایا، ہمیں وضاحت سے سنت کی تعلیم دی اور ہمیں نماز سکھائی اور فرمایا : جب تم نماز پڑھنے لگو تو صفوں کو سیدھا کرلو۔ جب امام تکبیر کہے تو تم تکبیر کہو اور جب وہ { غَیْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَیْہِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّینَ } پڑھے تو تم آمین کہو، اللہ تعالیٰ تمہاری دعا قبول فرمائے گا اور جب امام تکبیر کہہ کر رکوع کرے تو تم بھی تکبیر کہہ کر رکوع کرو۔ امام تم سے پہلے تکبیر کہے اور تم سے پہلے اٹھے ۔ پس یہ اس کا بدل ہے (یعنی جتنا وقت پہلے رکوع کرتا ہے اتنا وقت رکوع سے پہلے اٹھتا ہے) اور جب امام ” سَمِعَ اللَّہُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَہُ “ کہے تو تم ” رَبَّنَا لَکَ الْحَمْدُ “ کہو، جب وہ بیٹھے تو سب سے پہلے یہ کہے : ” التَّحِیَّاتُ الطَّیِّبَاتُ الزَّاکِیَاتُ لِلَّہِ ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَیْکَ أَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللَّہِ وَبَرَکَاتُہُ ، السَّلاَمُ عَلَیْنَا وَعَلَی عِبَادِ اللَّہِ الصَّالِحِیْنَ ، أَشْہَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلٰہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ ، وَأَشْہَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُہُ وَرَسُولُہُ ” تمام قولی، مالی اور بہترین عبادتیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔ سلامتی ہو آپ پر اے نبی ! اور اللہ کی رحمت اور برکتیں ہو۔ سلامتی ہو ہم پر اور اللہ کے نیک بندوں پر، میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اللہ کے بندے اور رسول ہیں۔ “
2827 Hattan bin Abdullah Raqashi ne bayan kya keh Sayyidna Abu Musa Ashari (RA) ne logon ko namaz parhayi. Jab aap (namaz ke akhir mein) baithe to ek shakhs ne kaha: Namaz neki aur pakeezgi ke sath sabit hai. Jab Abu Musa Ashari (RA) ne namaz se salam phera to pucha keh tum mein se yeh kalimat kisne kahe the? Tamam log khamosh rahe. Unhon ne phir daryaft kya keh yeh kalimat kisne kahe the? Phir bhi kisi ne jawab na diya. To khud hi kehne lage: Aye Hattan! Shayad tumne yeh kalimat kahe hain? Maine kaha: Allah ki qasam! Maine yeh kalma nahi kaha, lekin mujhe dar hai keh kahin aap mujhe is wajah se saza na dein. Tab ek shakhs ne kharay ho kar kaha: Yeh kalimat maine kahe hain aur meri niyat durust thi to Abu Musa ne kaha: Kya tumhe maloom nahi keh tum kis tarah namaz parhte ho? Beshak Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hamein khitab farmaya, hamein wazahat se sunnat ki taleem di aur hamein namaz sikhayi aur farmaya: Jab tum namaz parhne lago to saffon ko seedha karlo. Jab imam takbeer kahe to tum takbeer kaho aur jab woh {Ghairil Maghdubi Alaihim Walad-Dallin} parhe to tum Aameen kaho, Allah Ta'ala tumhari dua kabool farmayega aur jab imam takbeer keh kar rukuh kare to tum bhi takbeer keh kar rukuh karo. Imam tumse pehle takbeer kahe aur tumse pehle uthe. Pas yeh iska badal hai (yani jitna waqt pehle rukuh karta hai utna waqt rukuh se pehle uthta hai) aur jab imam "Sami'allahu Liman Hamidah" kahe to tum "Rabbana Lakal Hamd" kaho, jab woh baithe to sabse pehle yeh kahe: "Attahiyyatul Mubaarakatus Salawaatut Tayyiba tul Lillah, As-salamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabiyyu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu, As-salamu Alaina Wa Ala Ibaadillahis Saaliheen, Ash-hadu An Laa Ilaaha Illallahu, Wa Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu Wa Rasooluhu". Tamam qauli, mali aur behtarin ibadaten Allah hi ke liye hain. Salamati ho aap par aye Nabi! Aur Allah ki rehmat aur barkaten hon. Salamati ho hum par aur Allah ke nek bandon par, main gawahi deta hoon keh Allah ke siwa koi ma'bud nahin aur main gawahi deta hoon ke Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Allah ke bande aur rasool hain.
٢٨٢٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ هُوَ الرَّمَادِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى،صَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَلَمَّا قَعَدَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ:أُقِرَّتِ الصَّلَاةُ بِالْبِرِّ وَالزَّكَاةِ قَالَ: فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ: أَيُّكُمُ الْقَائِلُ كَلِمَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا؟ فَأَرَمَّ الْقَوْمُ،ثُمَّ قَالَ:أَيُّكُمُ الْقَائِلُ كَلِمَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا؟ فَأَرَمَّ الْقَوْمُ،فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى:" يَا حِطَّانُ لَعَلَّكَ قَائِلُهَا،قُلْتُ:وَاللهِ مَا قُلْتُهَا، وَلَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ تَبْكَعَنِي بِهَا،فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ:أَنَا قَائِلُهَا، وَمَا أَرَدْتُ بِهَا إِلَّا الْخَيْرَ،فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى:"أَمَا تَدْرُونَ كَيْفَ تُصَلُّونَ؟إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَنَا فَعَلَّمَنَا صَلَاتَنَا وَبَيَّنَ لَنَا سُنَّتَنَا فَقَالَ:" إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا صُفُوفَكُمْ، فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا،وَإِذَا قَالَ:غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ،فَقُولُوا:آمِينَ، يُجِبْكُمُ اللهُ، وَإِذَا كَبَّرَ وَرَكَعَ فَكَبِّرُوا، وَارْكَعُوا فَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يُكَبِّرُ قَبْلَكُمْ وَيَرْفَعُ قَبْلَكُمْ "فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" فَتِلْكَ بِتِلْكَ،وَإِذَا قَالَ:سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ ⦗٢٠٢⦘ حَمِدَهُ،فَقُولُوا:رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ،فَإِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الْقُعُودِ فَلْيَقُلْ أَوَّلَ مَا يَتَكَلَّمُ بِهِ:"التَّحِيَّاتُ الطَّيِّبَاتُ الزَّاكِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ
