Chapter on Whether to Pray for Other Than the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Saying of Allah Almighty: Pray for Them if You Are Silent
باب هل يصلى على غير النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقول الله عز وجل وصل عليهم إن صلاتك سكن لهم

Amr bin Murrah narrated that he heard from Abdullah bin Abi Aufa, who was among the people who took the pledge at Ridhwan, that when people brought the charity money to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "O Allah, bestow Your mercy upon them." My respected father brought his Zakat money to you (O Messenger), so you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah, send Your mercy upon the family of Abi Aufa."

(٢٨٧٤) عمرو بن مرہ فرماتے ہیں : میں نے عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی (رض) سے سنا اور وہ بیعت رضوان والوں میں سے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس جب لوگ صدقات کا مال لے کر آئے تو آپ نے فرمایا : اللَّہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَیْہِمْ ” اے اللہ ! ان پر اپنی رحمت نازل فرما۔ “ میرے والد محترم آپ کی خدمت میں اپنی زکوۃ کا مال لے کر آئے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اللَّہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی آلِ أَبِی أَوْفَی “ اے اللہ ! ابو اوفی کی آل پر رحمت بھیج۔
Amr bin Murrah farmate hain : maine Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Awfa (RA) se suna aur woh bai'at ridwan walon mein se hain ke Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas jab log sadqaat ka maal lekar aaye to aap ne farmaya : Allahumma salli alaihim ” aye Allah ! in par apni rehmat nazil farma. “ mere walid mohtaram aap ki khidmat mein apni zakat ka maal lekar aaye to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : ” Allahumma salli ala aali Abi Awfa “ aye Allah ! Abu Awfa ki aal par rehmat bhej.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a woman said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Pray for blessings for me and my family." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "May Allah have mercy upon you and your husband."

(٢٨٧٥) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے عرض کیا کہ میرے لیے اور میری آل کے لیے برکت کی دعا کریں۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : صَلَّی اللَّہُ عَلَیْکِ وَعَلَی زَوْجِکِ ۔ اللہ تجھ پر اور تیرے خاوند پر رحمت نازل کرے۔
2875 Jaber bin Abdullah (RA) farmate hain ke ek aurat ne Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se arz kiya ke mere liye aur meri aal ke liye barkat ki dua karen. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Sallallahu Alaiki Wa Alaa Zawjik. Allah tujh par aur tere khaawand par rehmat nazil kare.
(2876) (a) Sayyidina Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) states that it is not permissible to send Durood (blessings) upon anyone other than the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
(b) Imam Bayhaqi states that Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) meant the specific Durood that is recited with your (the Prophet's) name. This was due to your (the Prophet's) greatness. For anyone other than you, Salah (prayer) will be in the meaning of supplication and blessings, and this is permissible for those other than the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

(٢٨٧٦) (ا) سیدنا ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سوا کسی کا کسی دوسرے پر درود بھیجنا جائز نہیں ہے۔
(ب) امام بیہقی فرماتے ہیں کہ ابن عباس (رض) درود سے خصوصی درود جو آپ کے نام کے ساتھ پڑھا جاتا ہے مراد لیتے تھے، یہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی عظمت کی وجہ سے تھا۔ آپ کے علاوہ کسی دوسرے کی صلوۃ دعا اور برکت کے معنیٰ میں ہوگی اور یہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے علاوہ کے لیے جائز ہے۔

B Imam Baihaqi farmate hain keh Ibn Abbas (RA) durood se khususi durood jo aap ke naam ke sath parha jata hai murad lete the yeh aap (SAW) ki azmat ki wajah se tha Aap ke ilawa kisi dusre ki salat dua aur barkat ke maeny mein hogi aur yeh Nabi (SAW) ke ilawa ke liye jaiz hai
