(3423) It is narrated by Abdullah bin Shaddad bin Had, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us carrying his grandson, Hasan or Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them). When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went forward to lead the prayer, he placed him near his right foot. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prostrated and prolonged it, I raised my head and saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in prostration and the child was riding on his (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) back. I went back into prostration, and when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer with Taslim, the people said: "O Messenger of Allah! You prolonged the prostration in this prayer so much, you do not usually prostrate this long, were you given a command or was revelation being sent down to you during the prayer?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "None of these things happened. Rather, my son was riding on me, and I did not like to rush and deprive him of his amusement."

(٣٤٢٣) عبداللہ بن شداد بن ہا د اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے پاس اپنے نواسے حسن یا حسین (رض) کو اٹھائے ہوئے تشریف لائے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز پڑھانے کے لیے آگے بڑھے تو انھیں اپنے دائیں پاؤں کے قریب بٹھا دیا ۔ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے سجدہ کیا اور اس کو بہت طویل کردیا۔ میں نے اپنا سر اٹھایا تو کیا دیکھتا ہوں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تو سجدے میں ہیں اور بچہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی پیٹھ پر سوار ہے۔ میں دوبارہ سجدے میں چلا گیا، جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نماز سے سلام پھیرا تو لوگوں نے عرض کیا : اے اللہ کے رسول اللہ ! آپ نے اس نماز میں بہت ہی لمبا سجدہ کیا، اتنا لمبا سجدہ تو آپ نہیں کرتے، کیا دوران نماز آپ کو کوئی حکم دیا گیا یا آپ کی طرف وحی کی جا رہی تھی ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ان میں سے کوئی بات نہیں ہوئی۔ بلکہ میرا بیٹا میرے اوپر سوار تھا، مجھے اچھا نہ لگا کہ میں جلدی کروں اور وہ اپنا شوق پورا نہ کر پائے۔
(3423) Abdullah bin Shadaad bin Had apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) hamare pass apne nawase Hasan ya Hussain (RA) ko uthaye hue tashreef laye. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) namaz parhane ke liye aage barhe to unhen apne dayen paon ke kareeb bitha diya. Jab Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne sajdah kiya aur usko bahut tawil kar diya. Main ne apna sar uthaya to kya dekhta hun ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) to sajde mein hain aur bachcha aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki peeth par sawar hai. Main dobara sajde mein chala gaya, jab Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne namaz se salam phera to logon ne arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasool Allah! Aap ne is namaz mein bahut hi lamba sajdah kiya, itna lamba sajdah to aap nahin karte, kya dauran namaz aap ko koi hukm diya gaya ya aap ki taraf wahi ki ja rahi thi? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: In mein se koi baat nahin hui. Balke mera beta mere upar sawar tha, mujhe achcha nah laga ki main jaldi karun aur wo apna shauq poora nah kar paye.
٣٤٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُنَادِي، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أَحَدَ ابْنَيْهِ الْحَسَنَ أَوِ الْحُسَيْنَ،فَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ وَضَعَهُ عِنْدَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَسَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجْدَةٍ أَطَالَهَا قَالَ أَبِي:فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي مِنْ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدٌ وَإِذَا الْغُلَامُ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَعُدْتُ فَسَجَدْتُ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ النَّاسُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، لَقَدْ سَجَدْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ هَذِهِ سَجْدَةً مَا كُنْتَ تَسْجُدُهَا، أَفَشَيْءٌ أُمِرْتَ بِهِ أَوْ كَانَ يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ؟قَالَ:" كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ، إِنَّ ابْنِي ارْتَحَلَنِي فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَعْجَلَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ "
