Chapter on Disliking Yawning in Prayer and Others and What Is Recommended at That Time
باب كراهية التثاؤب في الصلاة وغيرها وما يؤمر به عند ذلك

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah loves sneezing and dislikes yawning. So, when one of you sneezes and says, ‘Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah),’ then it is obligatory upon every Muslim who hears him to say, ‘Yarhamukallah (May Allah have mercy on you).’ Yawning is from Satan, so if one of you feels like yawning, he should try his best to stop it, for when one of you yawns, Satan laughs.”

(٣٥٧٥) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ تعالیٰ چھینک کو پسند کرتا ہے اور جمائی کو ناپسند کرتا ہے۔ جب تم میں سے کسی کو چھینک آئے اور وہ الحمد للہ کہے تو سننے والے مسلمان پر ضروری ہے کہ وہ یرحمک اللہ کہے اور جمائی شیطان کی طرف سے ہے، لہٰذا جب تم میں سے کسی کو جمائی آئے تو اس کو روکنے کی کوشش کرے، کیونکہ تم میں سے جب کوئی جمائی کے وقت آواز نکالتا ہے تو شیطان ہنستا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) se riwayat hai ki Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala chheenk ko pasand karta hai aur jamai ko na pasand karta hai. Jab tum mein se kisi ko chheenk aaye aur woh Alhamdulillah kahe to sun-ne wala Musalman par zaroori hai ki woh "Yar Hamuk Allah" kahe aur jamai Shaitan ki taraf se hai lihaza jab tum mein se kisi ko jamai aaye to usko rokne ki koshish kare kyunki tum mein se jab koi jamai ke waqt aawaz nikalta hai to Shaitan hansta hai.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yawning is from Satan, so when any one of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can."

(٣٥٧٦) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جمائی شیطان کی طرف سے ہے، لہٰذا جب تم میں سے کسی کو جمائی آئے تو اپنی طاقت کے مطابق اسے روکنے کی کوشش کرے۔
(3576) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jamai shaitan ki taraf se hai lihaza jab tum mein se kisi ko jamai aaye to apni taqat ke mutabiq usay rokne ki koshish kare.
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you feels like yawning during the prayer, let him suppress it as much as he can, for Satan enters through a yawn."

(٣٥٧٧) ابوسعید خدری (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جب تم میں سے کسی کو نماز میں جمائی آئے تو جب تک ہو سکے اس کو روکے ، جمائی سے شیطان اندر داخل ہوجاتا ہے۔
(3577) Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : Jab tum mein se kisi ko namaz mein jamai aaye to jab tak ho sake us ko roke, jamai se shaitan andar dakhil hojata hai.
A similar narration is reported in another Hadith with the addition that he should place his hand over his mouth, but in this narration, the mention of prayer is not there.

(٣٥٧٨) ایک دوسری سند سے اسی کی مثل حدیث منقول ہے مگر اس میں ہے کہ وہ اپنا ہاتھ منہ پر رکھ لے اور اس روایت میں انھوں نے نماز کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔
(3578) aik dosri sand se isi ki misl hadees manqool hai magar is mein hai keh woh apna hath munh per rakh le aur is riwayat mein unhon ne namaz ka zikr nahin kiya.
