Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 13385
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "I spent the night at my maternal aunt Maimunah's house, and that night, the Prophet (peace be upon him) took me and made me lie down on his right side. He (peace be upon him) prayed thirteen rak'ahs that night. Then he slept until I could hear the sound of his breathing. While he (peace be upon him) was asleep, I could hear a sound. Then the mu'azzin (call to prayer) came, so he (peace be upon him) got up for prayer but did not perform ablution."

(١٣٣٨٥) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے اپنی خالہ میمونہ کے گھر رات گزاری اور اس رات نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے پکڑا اور دائیں طرف کھڑا کیا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس رات تیرہ رکعات نماز پڑھیں۔ پھر سو گئے یہاں تک کہ سونے کی آواز بھی آنے لگی اور جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سوئے تو مجھے آواز آتی تھی، پھر موذن آیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نماز کے لیے نکلے، لیکن وضو نہیں کیا۔
(13385) Ibne Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke maine apni khala Maimoona ke ghar raat guzari aur is raat Nabi (SAW) ne mujhe pakra aur dain taraf khara kiya aur aap (SAW) ne is raat terah rakat namaz parhin. Phir so gaye yahan tak ke sone ki aawaz bhi aane lagi aur jab aap (SAW) soye to mujhe aawaz aati thi, phir Moazzan aaya, aap (SAW) namaz ke liye nikle, lekin wazu nahin kiya.
Abu Salem bin Abdur Rahman narrates that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the prayer of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during Ramadan. She said, “He (peace be upon him) would not pray more than eleven rak'ahs in Ramadan or otherwise. He (peace be upon him) would pray four rak'ahs, and what splendor and length they were! Then he (peace be upon him) would pray four more, and what splendor and length they were! Then he (peace be upon him) would pray three rak'ahs.” Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Do you sleep before praying Witr?’ He (peace be upon him) said, ‘O Aisha, my eyes sleep but my heart remains awake.’”

(١٣٣٨٦) ابو سالم بن عبدالرحمن فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عائشہ (رض) سے سوال کیا کہ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی نماز رمضان میں کیسی تھی، تو انھوں نے کہا کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) رمضان اور غیر رمضان میں گیارہ رکعت سے زیادہ نہیں پڑھتے تھے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) چار رکعت پڑھتے نہ سوال کر ان کی خوبصورتی اور لمبائی کا، پھر چار رکعات پڑھتے اور نہ سوال کر ان کے خوبصورتی اور لمبائی کا۔ پھر تین رکعت پڑھتے۔ عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) وتر پڑھنے سے پہلے سوتے نہیں ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے عائشہ ! میری آنکھیں سوتی ہیں لیکن دل جاگتا ہے۔
(13386) Abu Salem bin Abdurrahman farmate hain ki maine Ayesha (Raz) se sawal kiya ki Nabi Kareem ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz Ramzan mein kaisi thi, to unhon ne kaha ki aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Ramzan aur ghair Ramzan mein gyarah rakat se ziada nahi parhte the, aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) chaar rakat parhte na sawal kar un ki khoobsurati aur lambai ka, phir chaar rakat parhte aur na sawal kar un ke khoobsurati aur lambai ka. Phir teen rakat parhte. Ayesha farmati hain ki maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Kiya aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) witr parhne se pehle sote nahi? To aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Ayesha! Meri aankhen soti hain lekin dil jagta hai.
Abdullah bin Abi Numar said that he heard Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrating to them the Hadith of the night of the Ascension from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said that three men came before the revelation came down and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sleeping in Masjid Al-Haram. One of them said, "Is this him?" The middle one said, "This is the best of the people." The last one said, "Take hold of this best one." This was that night. After that, I did not see them until they came again the next night. Your eyes (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were sleeping and your heart was awake, just as the eyes of all the Prophets sleep and their hearts are awake.

(١٣٣٨٧) عبداللہ بن ابو نمر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے انس بن مالک (رض) کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا وہ ہم کو معراج کی رات والی حدیث نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرما رہے تھے کہ تین بندے وحی کے نازل ہونے سے پہلے آئے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مسجد حرام میں سوئے ہوئے تھے۔ ایک نے کہا : کیا یہ وہی ہے ؟ درمیانے نے کہا : یہ بہترین بندہ ہے۔
آخری نے کہا : اس بہترین کو پکڑ لو، یہ اس رات تھا۔ اس کے بعد میں نے ان کو نہیں دیکھا یہاں تک کہ وہ دوسری رات پھر آئے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آنکھیں سوتی تھیں اور دل جاگتا تھا، اسی طرح تمام انبیاء کی آنکھیں سوتی اور دل جاگتا ہے۔
(13387) Abdullah bin Abu Namar kehte hain ki maine Anas bin Malik (RA) ko farmate hue suna woh hum ko Miraj ki raat wali hadees Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naqal farma rahe the ki teen bande wahi ke nazil hone se pehle aaye aur aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Masjid Haram mein soye hue the. Ek ne kaha: kya yahi hai? Darmiyanay ne kaha: yeh behtarin banda hai. Aakhri ne kaha: iss behtarin ko pakad lo, yeh uss raat tha. Iss ke baad maine inn ko nahi dekha yahan tak ki woh dusri raat phir aaye aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki aankhein soti thin aur dil jagta tha, isi tarah tamam anbiya ki aankhein soti aur dil jagta hai.
