Chapter on not entering into her until he gives her her dowry or what she is satisfied with
باب لا يدخل بها حتى يعطيها صداقها أو ما رضيت به

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When I married Fatima, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I said: O Messenger of Allah! Should she remain separate from me? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Give her something. So I said: O Messenger of Allah! I do not possess anything. So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Where is Hutamiyah's armor? So Ali said: It is with me. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Give it to her.

(١٤٤٦١) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت علی (رض) نے فرمایا : جب میں نے فاطمہ بنت رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے شادی کی تو میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! وہ مجھ سے دور رہے ؟ تو فرمایا : اسے کچھ دو تو میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! میرے پاس کچھ بھی نہیں ہے تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : حطمیہ ذرع کہاں ہے ؟ تو حضرت علی نے کہا : میرے پاس ہے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہی اس کو دے دو ۔
(14461) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain keh Hazrat Ali (RA) ne farmaya : Jab maine Fatima bint Rasul Allah (SAW) se shadi ki to maine kaha : Aye Allah ke Rasul (SAW) ! Woh mujh se door rahe ? To farmaya : Use kuch do to maine kaha : Aye Allah ke Rasul (SAW) ! Mere pass kuch bhi nahi hai to aap (SAW) ne farmaya : Hatmi zarah kahan hai ? To Hazrat Ali ne kaha : Mere pass hai, aap (SAW) ne farmaya : Wohi us ko de do .
Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Thauban narrated from one of the companions that when Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) married Fatima (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and intended to consummate the marriage, the Prophet (PBUH) forbade him, saying first give something to Fatima (رضي الله تعالى عنه). Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said: I do not have anything. So you (PBUH) said: Give your armor. So Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) gave the armor and consummated the marriage.

(١٤٤٦٢) محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن ثوبان صحابہ میں سے کسی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب حضرت علی (رض) نے فاطمہ سے شادی کی اور دخول کا ارادہ کیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے منع فرما دیا کہ پہلے فاطمہ کو کچھ دو تو حضرت علی (رض) کہتے ہیں : میرے پاس کچھ بھی نہیں ہے، تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اپنی ذرع ہی دے دو تو حضرت علی (رض) نے ذرع دے کر دخول کیا۔
Muhammad bin Abdurrahman bin Sauban Sahaba mein se kisi se naqal farmate hain ke jab Hazrat Ali (RA) ne Fatima se shadi ki aur dakhool ka irada kiya to Nabi (SAW) ne mana farma diya ke pehle Fatima ko kuch do to Hazrat Ali (RA) kehte hain : mere pass kuch bhi nahi hai, to aap (SAW) ne farmaya : apni zirah hi de do to Hazrat Ali (RA) ne zirah de kar dakhool kiya.
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When a man marries a woman, and he fixes the dowry for her, and he intends to consummate the marriage, he should give her his shawl or his ring first, if he has one.

(١٤٤٦٣) حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : جب کوئی شخص کسی عورت سے شادی کرے اور حق مہر بھی مقرر کر دے اور دخول کا ارادہ ہو تو اپنی چادر یا انگوٹھی پہلے عورت کو دے اگر موجود ہو۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain : Jab koi shakhs kisi aurat se shadi kare aur haq mehr bhi muqarar kar de aur dakhool ka irada ho to apni chadar ya anguthi pehle aurat ko de agar mojood ho.
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It is not lawful for a man to have sexual intercourse with a woman without giving her something, except with her consent, but he should satisfy her with a garment or a gift.

(١٤٤٦٤) حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ کسی مرد کے لیے یہ درست نہیں کہ عورت کو کچھ دیے بغیر اس سے دخول کرے اس کی رضا مندی کے بغیر، لیکن اس کو کپڑا یا عطیہ دے کر راضی کرے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) farmate hain keh kisi mard ke liye yeh durust nahi keh aurat ko kuchh diye baghair us se dakhool kare us ki raza mandi ke baghair, lekin us ko kapra ya atiya de kar razi kare.
