Chapter on estimating compensation at twelve thousand dirhams or one thousand dinars, according to those who made them primary
باب تقدير البدل باثني عشر ألف درهم أو بألف دينار على قول من جعلهما أصلين

Abdullah bin Abbas narrated that during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a man was killed, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set his blood money at 12,000 (Dirhams), and this is the decree of Allah {And they were not punished...} (33:50)

(١٦١٧٧) عبداللہ بن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ عہد رسالت میں ایک شخص قتل ہوگیا تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کی دیت ١٢٠٠٠ مقرر کی اور یہی اللہ کا فرمان ہے { وَمَا نَقَمُوا } الآیۃ
(16177) Abdullah bin Abbas farmate hain keh ahd risalat mein ek shakhs qatal hogaya to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne us ki deyat 12000 muqarrar ki aur yahi Allah ka farman hai {wa ma naqamoo} aayah.
Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm narrated from his father, and he from his grandfather, that in a letter which the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, wrote regarding Jizya, it was stated, "Upon those who sleep (i.e., the protected non-Muslims), there are 1000 dinars."

(١٦١٧٩) ابوبکر بن محمد بن عمرو بن حزم اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنیدادا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے جو دیت کے بارے میں ایک خط لکھا تھا، اس میں تھا کہ ” سونے والوں کے ذمے ١٠٠٠ دینار ہیں۔
Abubakar bin Muhammad bin Amr bin Hazm apne walid se aur wo apne dada se riwayat karte hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne jo deet ke bare mein ek khat likha tha, usme tha ki " sone walon ke zimme 1000 dinar hain.
Aisha (RA) narrated that once she was praying when a snake came out nearby, so on Aisha’s order, it was killed. Aisha (RA) saw in a dream that she was being told, "You killed a Muslim who had come to listen to the Quran. Pay his blood money.” So Aisha (RA) paid 12,000 dirhams as blood money.

(١٦١٨٢) حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں کہ ایک سانپ قریب ہی نکل آیا تو حضرت عائشہ کے حکم پر اسے مار دیا گیا، حضرت عائشہ نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ اسے کہا جا رہا ہے کہ تو نے ایک مسلمان کو قتل کردیا جو قرآن سننے آیا تھا ؟ اس کی دیت ادا کرو تو عائشہ (رض) نے اس کی دیت ١٢٠٠٠ درہم ادا کی۔
Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh aik martaba woh namaz parh rahi thin keh aik saanp qareeb hi nikal aaya to Hazrat Ayesha ke hukum par use maar diya gaya, Hazrat Ayesha ne khwab mein dekha keh use kaha ja raha hai keh tune aik musalman ko qatal kardiya jo Quran sunne aaya tha ? Is ki deet ada karo to Ayesha (raz) ne is ki deet 12000 dirham ada ki.
