Chapter on the permissibility of medical treatment
باب ما جاء في إباحة التداوي
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19557
(19557) Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has created the disease and its cure.”

(١٩٥٥٧) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ نے جو بیماری پیدا کی اس کا علاج بھی رکھا ہے۔
(19557) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Allah ne jo bimari paida ki us ka ilaaj bhi rakha hai.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is a cure for every disease. When the right medicine is found for the disease, the patient recovers by the command of Allah."

(١٩٥٥٨) حضرت جابر (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہر بیماری کے لیے دوا ہے۔ جب بیماری کو صحیح دوا مل جاتی ہے تو اللہ کے حکم سے مریض تندرست ہوجاتا ہے۔
(19558) Hazrat Jabir (RA) Nabi (SAW) se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Har bimari ke liye dawa hai. Jab bimari ko sahi dawa mil jati hai to Allah ke hukm se mariz tandarust hojata hai.
Usamah bin Sharik narrated that he went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the Companions were sitting as if birds were perched on their heads. I greeted and sat down, then a Bedouin came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Should we seek treatment with medicine?" He (ﷺ) said: "Seek treatment, for Allah has appointed a cure for every disease, except for old age." The narrator said: "He asked about some other things," so he (ﷺ) said: "There is no harm." He (ﷺ) said: "O servants of Allah! Allah has removed hardship, but whoever oppresses others, it will lead to destruction and ruin." He said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the best thing that has been bestowed upon people?" He (ﷺ) said: "Good character."

(١٩٥٥٩) اسامہ بن شریک کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آیا اور صحابہ یوں بیٹھے تھے جیسے ان کے سروں پر پرندے بیٹھے ہوں۔ میں سلام کہہ کر بیٹھ گیا تو ایک اعرابی بھی آگیا۔ اس نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا ہم دوائی سے علاج کرلیں ؟ فرمایا : علاج کیا کرو کیونکہ اللہ نے ہر بیماری کا علاج رکھا ہے، سوائے بڑھاپے کے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : اس نے بعض دوسری اشیاء کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کوئی حرج نہیں ہے۔ فرمایا : اللہ کے بندو ! اللہ نے تنگی کو ختم کر ڈالا لیکن جو شخص دوسروں پر ظلم کرتا ہے یہ ہلاکت و پریشانی کا باعث ہے۔ اس نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! لوگوں کو بہترین چیز کیا عطا کی گئی ؟ فرمایا : اچھا اخلاق۔
(19559) Osama bin shreek kehty hain keh mein Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) k paas aya aur Sahaba youn baithe thy jaisy un k saron per parindy baithe hon. Mein salam keh kar baith gya tou aik arabi bhi agya. Us ne kaha: Aye Allah k Rasool! Kya hum dawai se elaj kar lein? Farmaya: Elaj kya karo kyunki Allah ne har bimari ka elaj rakha hai, siwaye budhape k. Rawi kehty hain: Us ne baaz dosri ashiya k bary mein poocha tou aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Koi harj nahi hai. Farmaya: Allah k bando! Allah ne tangi ko khatam kar dala lekin jo shakhs doosron per zulm karta hai yeh halaakat o parishani ka baais hai. Us ne kaha: Aye Allah k Rasool! Logon ko behtarin cheez kya ata ki gai? Farmaya: Acha akhlaq.
Abdullah bin Masood (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah has sent down a cure for every disease, and some people know it while others are unaware of it.

(١٩٥٦٠) حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ نے ہر بیماری کی شفا اتاری ہے اور جس نے اس کو جان لیا اور بعض لوگ اس سے ناواقف بھی ہیں۔
(19560) Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah ne har bimari ki shifa utara hai aur jisne usko jan liya aur baaz log usse na waqif bhi hain.
