Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19306
Nafi' narrated that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most beloved of your names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman."

(١٩٣٠٦) نافع حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کو تمہارے ناموں میں سے سب سے زیادہ محبوب نام عبداللہ اور عبدالرحمن ہیں۔
(19306) Nafi Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) se naql farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah ko tumhare naamon mein se sab se ziada mehboob naam Abdullah aur Abdur Rahman hain.
Abu Wahb al-Jushami reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Give your children the names of Prophets. The most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah (servant of Allah) and Abdur Rahman (servant of the Most Merciful). The most truthful names are Harith (cultivator) and Hammam (one who strives). The most evil names are Harb (war) and Murrah (bitter).”

(١٩٣٠٧) ابو وہب جشمی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : انبیاء کے ناموں پر نام رکھو اور اللہ کے پسندیدہ نام عبداللہ اور عبدالرحمن ہیں اور زیادہ سچائی والے حارث اور ہمام ہیں اور برے ناموں میں سے حرب اور مرہ ہیں۔
19307 Abu Wahab Jashmi farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Anbiya ke naamon par naam rakho aur Allah ke pasandida naam Abdullah aur Abdur Rahman hain aur zyada sachchai wale Haris aur Hammam hain aur bure naamon mein se Harb aur Marra hain.
Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, you will be called by your names and by your fathers' names, so keep your names good."
Grade: Da'if
(١٩٣٠٨) ابو دردائ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قیامت کے دن تم اپنے اور باپوں کے نام سے پکارے جاؤ گے ۔ تم اپنے نام اچھے رکھو۔
