Abdullah bin Ubayd bin Umair said: I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about sudden death, whether it is disliked. She said: "Why should it be disliked?" I said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is a source of comfort for the believer and a cause of grief for the wicked."

(٦٥٧٢) عبداللہ بن عبید بن عمیر کہتے ہیں : میں نے عائشہ (رض) سے اچانک موت کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ کیا وہ ناپسند کی جاتی ہے۔ وہ کہنے لگی کہ کس وجہ سے ناپسند کی جاتی ہے ؟ میں نے اس کے متعلق رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” مومن کے لیے راحت ہے اور فاجر کیلئے باعث غم۔
(6572) Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair kehte hain : maine Ayesha (rz) se achanak mout ke baare mein poocha keh kya woh napasand ki jati hai. Woh kehne lagi keh kis wajah se napasand ki jati hai ? maine iske mutalliq Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poocha to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : "Momin ke liye rahat hai aur fajir ke liye baais gham."
Both Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Aisha (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It is a source of grief for the wicked and a source of relief for the believer, meaning sudden death.

(٦٥٧٣) عبداللہ (رض) اور عائشہ (رض) دونوں کہتے ہیں : فاجر کے لیے غم اور مومن کیلئے باعث راحت ہے، یعنی اچانک موت۔
(6573) Abdullah (rz) aur Ayesha (rz) donon kehte hain : fajir ke liye gham aur momin ke liye baais rahat hai, yani achanak maut.
Abu Qatada bin Rabi reported: A funeral procession passed by the Prophet (ﷺ). He said: "He (the deceased) is at rest, and (the people) are relieved from him." They (the Companions) said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is at rest, and from whom are (the people) relieved?" He (ﷺ) said: "A believer is at rest from the hardships and difficulties of this world and attains the mercy of Allah, and as for the sinful person, the people, the cities, the trees, and the animals get relief from him."

(٦٥٧٤) ابو قتادہ بن ربعی بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ کے پاس سے ایک جنازہ گزرا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” مُسْتَرِیْحٌ ومُسْتَراحَ مَنْہُ “ تو انھوں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! مستریح اور مستراح منہ کیا ہے ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : مومن بندہ دنیا کے مصائب و تکالیف سے آرام پاتا ہے اور اللہ کی رحمت حاصل کرتا ہے اور جو گناہ گار ہے اس سے لوگ ، شہر، درخت اور جاندار آرام پاتے ہیں۔
(6574) Abu Qatada bin Rabi bayan karte hain ki aap ke pas se ek janaza guzra to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: "Mustarihun wa mustarah minhu" to unhon ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mustarih aur mustarah minhu kya hai? To aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Momin banda duniya ke masaib o takaleef se aaram pata hai aur Allah ki rehmat hasil karta hai aur jo gunahgar hai us se log, shehar, darakht aur jandar aaram pate hain.
