Mughira bin Shuba (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I think that Qabisa, expressing his doubt, said that the horseman should walk behind the funeral and those on foot should walk behind them, in front of them and on their right and left, and the funeral prayer of an incompletely born child should be offered, but prayer for forgiveness and mercy should be made for his parents.”

(٦٨٦٦) مغیرہ بن شعبہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں : میرا خیال ہے کہ قبیصہ نے اپنا شک ظاہر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ سوار جنازے کے پیچھے چلے گا اور پیدل چلنے والے ان کے پیچھے، آگے اور دائیں بائیں چلیں گے اور ادھورے بچے کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی جائے گی مگر اس کے والدین کے لیے عافیت ورحمت کی دعا کی جائے گی۔
Maghira bin Shuba (RA) farmate hain : mera khayal hai ki Qabeesa ne apna shak zahir karte huye kaha ki sawar janaze ke peeche chale ga aur paidal chalne wale un ke peeche, aage aur daein baein chalen ge aur adhure bache ki namaz janaza parhi jaye gi magar us ke waldain ke liye aafiyat o rehmat ki dua ki jaye gi.
Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about walking with the funeral procession, so he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Walk without running. If he was righteous, then he will be delivered quickly, and if he was other than that, then it is a distance for the people of Hell that the funeral is followed. It is not turned back with him. There should not be anyone with it who goes ahead of it."

(٦٨٦٧) عبداللہ بن مسعود (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے جنازے کے ساتھ چلنے کے بارے میں سوال کیا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ چلنا دوڑنے کے بغیر ہوگا۔ اگر وہ نیک ہے تو اسے جلد پہنچایا جائے گا اور اگر اس کے علاوہ ہے تو پھر جہنمیوں کے لیے دوری ہو جنازے کی اتباع کی جاتی ہے اسے پیچھے نہیں چلایا جاتا اس کے ساتھ کوئی ایسا نہیں ہونا چاہیے جو اس کے آگے چلے۔
(6867) Abdullah bin Masood (RA) farmate hain ki hum ne Rasool Allah (SAW) se janaze ke sath chalne ke bare mein sawal kya to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Woh chalna daudne ke baghair hoga. Agar woh nek hai to usay jald pohanchaya jayega aur agar uske alawa hai to phir jahanamiyon ke liye doori ho janaze ki ittiba ki jati hai usay peeche nahin chalaya jata uske sath koi aisa nahin hona chahiye jo uske aage chale.
Abdul Rahman bin Abza narrated from his father that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to walk in front of the funeral procession and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to walk behind. So Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: "Those two (Abu Bakr and Umar) walk in front of the funeral procession?" He said, "They know that walking behind is better than walking in front, just as praying in congregation is better than praying alone, but they make things easy for the people."

(٦٨٦٨) عبد الرحمن بن ابزیٰ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ابوبکر (رض) عمر (رض) اور جنازے کے آگے چلا کرتے تھے اور علی (رض) پیچھے چلا کرتے تھے تو علی (رض) سے کہا گیا : وہ دونوں (صدیق ‘ فاروق) جنازے کے آگے چلتے ہیں ؟ تو انھوں نے کہا : وہ جانتے ہیں کہ پیچھے چلنا آگے چلنے سے افضل ہیجی سے باجماعت نماز اکیلے کی نماز سے افضل ہے لیکن وہ لوگوں کے لیے آسانی پیدا کرتے ہیں۔
(6868) Abdul Rahman bin Abza apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Abu Bakr (RA) Umar (RA) aur janaze ke aage chala karte the aur Ali (RA) peeche chala karte the to Ali (RA) se kaha gaya : woh dono (Siddiq ' Farooq) janaze ke aage chalte hain ? To unhon ne kaha : woh jante hain ki peeche chalna aage chalne se afzal hai jaise bajamaat namaz akile ki namaz se afzal hai lekin woh logon ke liye aasani paida karte hain.
