Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away on the night of Tuesday. Eight nights of Jumada al-Ula remained, and it was the year thirteen after Hijra. He had willed that Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) bint Umais, who was his wife, should give him the ritual bath, and she was weak at that time, so Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) helped her.

(٦٦٦٣) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) فرماتی ہیں کہ ابوبکر (رض) منگل کی رات فوت ہوئے۔ جمادی الاولی کی آٹھ راتیں باقی تھیں اور تیرہ ہجری تھی۔ انھوں نے وصیت کی کہ انھیں غسل اسماء (رض) بنت عمیس دیں جو ان کی بیوی تھیں اور تب وہ کمزور ہوچکی تھیں اس لیے ان کا تعاون عبد الرحمن بن ابی بکر (رض) نے کیا۔
Sayyida Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) farmati hain ke Abu Bakr (Razi Allah Anhu) mangal ki raat فوت hue. Jamadi al-Awwal ki aath raaten baqi thin aur terah hijri thi. Unhon ne wasiyat ki ke unhen ghusl Asma (Razi Allah Anha) bint Umays den jo un ki biwi thin aur tab wo kamzor ho chuki thin is liye un ka taawun Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (Razi Allah Anhu) ne kiya.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "May Allah have mercy on the one who is given a bath by his wife and is shrouded in his old clothes." She said: "This is what was done with Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). He was given a bath by his wife, Asma' bint 'Umais, and he was shrouded in clothes that he had worn out."

(٦٦٦٤) سیدہ عائشہ (رض) کہتی ہیں : میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرماتے تھے : اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص پر رحم کرے جسے اس کی بیوی نے غسل دیا اور وہ اپنے پرانے کپڑوں میں کفن دیا گیا۔ وہ کہتی ہیں : ایسا ابوبکر (رض) کے ساتھ کیا گیا۔ انھیں غسل ان کی بیوی اسماء بنت عمیس نے دیا اور کفن انھیں کپڑوں میں دیا گیا جو انھوں نے پرانے کرلیے تھے۔
Seda Ayesha (Razi Allah Anha) kehti hain : maine Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farmatey thy : Allah Ta'ala us shakhs par reham karey jisey us ki biwi ne ghusl diya aur woh apne purane kapron mein kafan diya gaya. Woh kehti hain : aisa Abubakar (Razi Allah Anhu) ke sath kiya gaya. Unhen ghusl un ki biwi Asma bint Umais ne diya aur kafan unhen kapron mein diya gaya jo unhon ne purane karliye thy.
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that if I accepted a matter, I would not back down from it. None amongst the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him a bath except me.
The Shaikh said that she swore an oath on this, and oaths are only taken on matters that are true.

(٦٦٦٥) حضرت عائشہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ اگر میں کسی بات کا استقبال (قبول) کرتی ہوں تو اس سے پیچھے نہیں ہٹتی ۔ نہیں غسل دیا آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بیویوں کے علاوہ کسی نے۔
شیخ کہتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے اس پر قسم اٹھائی اور قسم صرف اس بات پر اٹھائی جاتی ہے جو درست ہو۔
6665 Hazrat Aisha (RA) se riwayat hai ki agar mein kisi baat ka istaqbal (qubool) karti hun to us se peeche nahi hatti. Nahi ghusl diya aap (SAW) ko aap (SAW) ki biwiyon ke ilawa kisi ne. Sheikh kehte hain ki unhon ne is par qasam uthai aur qasam sirf us baat par uthai jati hai jo durust ho.
