Chapter on whoever revives dead land, it belongs to him by the gift of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) without the authority's ownership

It is narrated by Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that he said: Whoever cultivates barren land, it becomes the property of the cultivator.

(١١٧٨٢) حضرت عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے فرمایا : جس نے بنجر زمین آباد کی تو وہ آباد کرنے والے کی ہی ملکیت ہے۔

Hazrat Umar (RA) se riwayat hai ki unhon ne farmaya: Jis ne banjar zameen abad ki to woh abad karne wale ki hi malkiat hai.

١١٧٨٢ -قَالَ:وَأنبأ مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ،أَنَّ عُمَرَ قَالَ:" مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً فَهِيَ لَهُ "
