Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 11954
Saeed bin Musayyab said that a complaint was made to Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), so he considered that a father gives gifts to his young children.

(١١٩٥٤) سعید بن مسیب فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عثمان (رض) کی طرف شکایت کی گئی تو آپ نے دیکھا کہ والد اپنی اولاد کو عطیہ دیتا ہے جبکہ وہ چھوٹی ہو۔
(11954) Saeed bin Musayyab farmate hain ki Hazrat Usman (RA) ki taraf shikayat ki gai to aap ne dekha ki walid apni aulad ko atiya deta hai jabke wo chhoti ho.
١١٩٥٤ -قَالَ:وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ،عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ:فَشُكِيَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ" فَرَأَى أَنَّ الْوَالِدَ يَحُوزُ لِوَلَدِهِ إِذَا كَانُوا صِغَارًا "
