Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 12684
Muhammad bin Abi Umrah advised his children and the children of his family that they should fear Allah and reform themselves and obey Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And he advised them with that which Ibrahim advised Yaqoob with, "O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the religion, so die not except in the state of Islam." And he advised them that they should not leave being brothers of the Ansar and being their clients. Indeed, chastity and truthfulness are more honorable than fornication and lying. And he advised them concerning that which he left behind, and if anything became apparent to him before his death, he would change the will.

(١٢٦٨٤) محمد بن ابی عمرہ نے اپنی اولاد اور اپنے اہل کی اولاد کو وصیت کی کہ وہ اللہ سے ڈریں اور اپنی اصلاح کریں اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اطاعت کریں۔ اگر وہ مومن ہیں اور ان کو وہ وصیت کی جو ابراہیم نے یعقوب کو کی تھی اے میرے بیٹے ! اللہ نے تمہارے لیے دین کو چن لیا ہے، پس تم اسلام کی حالت میں فوت ہونا اور ان کو وصیت کی کہ وہ نہ چھوڑ دیں کہ انصار کے بھائی ہوں اور ان کے غلام ہوں، بیشک پاکدامنی اور سچائی زیادہ عزت والی ہے زنا اور جھوٹ سے اور ان کو وصیت کی جو چھوڑا اس بارے میں اور اگر کوئی چیز میری موت سے پہلے رونما ہوئی تو میں وصیت بدل لوں گا۔
(12684) Muhammad bin Abi Umrah ne apni aulad aur apne ahl ki aulad ko wasiyat ki keh woh Allah se darein aur apni islaah karein aur Allah aur uske Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki itaat karein. Agar woh momin hain aur unko woh wasiyat ki jo Ibrahim ne Yaqoob ko ki thi aye mere bete! Allah ne tumhare liye deen ko chun liya hai, pas tum Islam ki halat mein faut hona aur unko wasiyat ki keh woh na chhor dein keh Ansar ke bhai hon aur unke ghulam hon, beshak pakdamani aur sachai zyada izzat wali hai zina aur jhoot se aur unko wasiyat ki jo chhora us bare mein aur agar koi cheez meri maut se pehle ronuma hui to main wasiyat badal lunga.
١٢٦٨٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ،ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ:كَانَتْ وَصِيَّةُ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ:" ذِكْرُ مَا أَوْصَى بِهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ بَنِيهِ وَبَنِي أَهْلِهِ، أَنْ يَتَّقُوا اللهَ، وَيُصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وَأَنْ يُطِيعُوا اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كَانُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ، وَأَوْصَاهُمْ بِمَا وَصَّى بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ{يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ}[البقرة: ١٣٢]، وَأَوْصَاهُمْ أَنْ لَا يَدَعُوا أَنْ يَكُونُوا إِخْوَانَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَمَوَالِيَهُمْ؛ فَإِنَّ الْعَفَافَ وَالصِّدْقَ أَتْقَى وَأَكْرَمُ مِنَ الزِّنَا وَالْكَذِبِ، وَأَوْصَاهُمْ فِيمَا تَرَكَ إِنْ حَدَثَ بِي حَدَثٌ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُغَيِّرَ وَصِيَّتِي "
