Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 12775
(12775) Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Muslims were inflicted with hardship in the battle of Mu'tah. The Muslims seized some of the belongings of the polytheists as spoils of war, among which was a ring. A man brought it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "I killed its owner." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave it to him. Khuzaymah bin Thabit said: I was present at the battle of Mu'tah. On that day, a man from among them challenged me to a duel. I reached him and was about to strike him. He had pearls on him, so I captured him because of the pearls. When I returned to Medina, I brought him to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) myself. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bestowed him upon me. I sold him for a hundred dinars during the time of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). Then I bought a garden with it.

(١٢٧٧٥) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں : مسلمانوں کو غزوہ موتہ میں تکلیف دی گئی اور مسلمانوں نے بعض مشرکوں کا سامان غنیمت بنایا تھا، اس میں سے ایک انگوٹھی تھی، جسے ایک آدمی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لے کر آیا، اس نے کہا : میں نے اس کے صاحب کو قتل کیا ہے، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وہ اسے دی۔ خزیمہ بن ثابت فرماتے ہیں : میں غزوہ موتہ میں حاضر ہوا۔ اس دن ان میں سے ایک آدمی نے مجھے دعوت مقابلہ دی، میں اسے پہنچا اور اس پر خود تھا، اس میں موتی لگے ہوئے تھے پس موتیوں کی وجہ سے میں نے اسے پکڑ لیا جب میں مدینہ واپس آیا میں وہ خود رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس لے کر آیا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے وہ مجھے عنایت فرما دیا۔ میں نے اسے حضرت عثمان (رض) کے دور میں سو دینار میں بیچ دیا ۔ پس میں نے اس سے باغ خریدا۔
12775 Jaber bin Abdullah (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain: Musalmanon ko Ghazwa Mutah mein takleef di gayi aur Musalmanon ne baaz mushrikon ka saman ghanimat banaya tha, is mein se ek anguthi thi, jise ek aadmi Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas le kar aaya, usne kaha: mein ne iske sahib ko qatal kiya hai, Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne wo use de. Hazima bin Sabit farmate hain: mein Ghazwa Mutah mein hazir hua. Iss din in mein se ek aadmi ne mujhe dawat muqabla di, mein usse pahuncha aur us par khud tha, is mein moti lage hue the pas motion ki wajah se mein ne use pakad liya jab mein Madina wapas aaya mein wo khud Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas le kar aaya, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne wo mujhe inaayat farma diya. Mein ne use Hazrat Usman (Razi Allah Anhu) ke daur mein 100 dinar mein bech diya. Pas mein ne is se bagh khareeda.
١٢٧٧٥ -قَالَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ:وَحَدَّثَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مِسْمَارٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ،عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:" حَضَرْتُ مُؤْتَةَ، فَبَارَزَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ، فَأَصَبْتُهُ وَعَلَيْهِ بَيْضَةٌ لَهُ فِيهَا يَاقُوتَةٌ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ هِمَّتِي إِلَّا الْيَاقُوتَةَ، فَأَخَذْتُهَا، فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَا، فَنَفَّلَنِيهَا، فَبِعْتُهَا زَمَنَ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ بِمِائَةِ دِينَارٍ، فَاشْتَرَيْتُ بِهَا حَدِيقَةً "
